Rudy Giuliani will prevent a conservative crack-up.
Today, after very little effort, Giuliani is the frontrunner for the Republican nomination. Dick Morris is predicting a Giuliani vs. Clinton race in 2008. Yet some conservatives are dubious of the man who cleaned up New York, returned it to a vigor unimaginable from the 1960s through the 1980s, and then led New York and the country heroically through 9/11. Well, one knows a politician by the company he keeps, and Giuliani has around him the financial people who created the libertarian-conservative Manhattan Institute. He relied heavily on the Institute's policies while governing New York. He will rely on libertarian-conservative policy makers in his race for the White House and once there.

There is NO health condition of ANY mother that makes Partial-Birth Abortion necessary. Holding out for a "health exception" is holding out for PBA.
RinoRudy knew there was only one flavor of koolaid headed for NY senate and admitted his politics and those pf Clinton were 99% the same. He also factored in that he could scam more dollars from "speaking fees" as a private individual than he could from the closely monitored and regulated Senate seat.
It's a shame you haven't kept up with the success that states are having with these laws. Far more success than the federal government has had since Reagan.
But hey, you have an agenda to prove so just pretend that I'm making a liberal argument. Carry on.
I WILL vote for Bill Richardson, < before > I vote for Rudy! Even though he's a RAT, having him for a governor really hasn't been that bad. He's actually done a few things in NM that I have liked. Like cutting taxes. ;o) He's NOT anti gun, and that's a huge plus for me, too.
That's what I worry about : If the dems decide to run a moderate dem, due to Hillary's high negatives (and I really don't see Obama winning the nomination, much less the election, so HRC is the big threat IMO). They do have some who seem like decent candidates and people...But what happens when they get in office , if they decide to turn left, like pretty much all politicians do (See : "Grew in office", "bipartisan outreach", etc?
Total agreement. I guess vote for the guy with the R after his name and pray for the best. Let's face it, the days Ronald Reagan would be nominated, much less able to win, are gone. :-( At least Guiliani seems to understand the threat of Islamic triumphalism.
Bills are introduced all the time, a lot of them never see the light of day, how did these four fair? Just curious, you seem to have done the research.
As far as I know, these bills have yet to be voted on.
If the 'spineless ones' congress that is see it as a negative I would think the gun bills wouldn't get to far.
What really concerns me is another incident similar to Columbine, which would easily turn public opinion of the uninformed around. With this in mind, I cannot vote for an anti-gun candidate.
That is so cool!
I bet John, my girlfriend's brother, knew your Mom!
John still keeps in touch with some of the faculty there.
They grew up next to Leif Ericksen park, near the Ft. Hamilton train stop.

Donna was his first wife, she is a shrill V Monologues feminist.
Yeah, I loved the way Rudy told the arab terrorists off, both with the check and arafat.
Rudy was a good mayor, I'm not convinced he is conservatism's best hope against Hitliary, though...I hope someone else steps up to the plate that is just as strong a candidate, yet more conservative.
See ya',
Ed
Yeah, that's a good point. On guns, though, Richardson is sticking to his in terms of his favorable stance towards the 2nd Amendment.

Still not too far from my office! Actually many fond memories. I send them donations all the time.
