On right now...
He's been a tireless campaigner for the GOP and for GOP candidates.
I'll never forget his endorsement speech at the '04 convention for GWB. In fact, I have posted it here twice and I might again before this is over. :0)
each state gets to define the terms on its own. for example, NJ just passed one that is EVERYTHING marriage is, without the name "marriage". other states may decide to offer no acomodations, or to offer some things (wills and estates, health care proxies, etc).
Nephi, I don't know what country you're living in, cause you couldn't be more wrong.
I was very impressed as he answered the questions. Wouldn't you love to see Ms. Clinton questioned like this?
Wrong! The bill, as written, had a "life of the mother" clause. It had NO "health of the mother" clause.
All combovers are unattractive. LOL! But unless you shave your head completely - there is nothing you can do with it.
Oh boy Morris why is it that everytime I see him I feel like I got to shower
Jimmy Carter and Slick Willie both came out of the woodwork to become president. It is possible to come from behind to be the nominee.
I'm a Duncan Hunter fan as well. There are quite a few of us around these parts.
Not much love lost there. He's essentially admitted his only ambition for this election cycle is to destroy Hil.
He's sleeeeeezy! That's why.
I think the tide is ever so slowly turning. Slowly. Even the FR poll went up for Rudy.
Post it on this thread -- I listen to that speech whenever people on here make me mad! Been listening to it a lot the last few days.
He sells carpet in Fort wayne
The law does, in fact, have a life of the mother exception:
This subsection [imposing penalties] does not apply to a partial-birth abortion that is necessary to save the life of a mother whose life is endangered by a physical disorder, physical illness, or physical injury, including a life-endangering physical condition caused by or arising from the pregnancy itself.
The courts have been striking it down on the fact that it doesn't have a "health of the mother" exception.
And, anyone who has studied the issue knows that partial birth abortion is never necessary to preserve either the life or the health of the mother.
LOL
I called a loom supply store in Maine a few months ago. I've only lived in the South for 7 years, but my ears couldn't listen fast enough to understand what guy on the other end was saying. LOL
Its the only way Rudy can play it right now. I'd say Rudy lost at least 5,000,000 votes primary voters with his appearence on H&C tonight. Conservatives will not accept another big government Republican, who is also pro-abortion, pro-gun control, pro-amnesty and pro-homo rights. Ain't gonna happen.
LOL!
Exactly. Like I said, no matter which side of the issue a candidate comes down on, the judicial branch in this day and age seems to be the ones putting laws into stone. The judicial branch is awash in secular-progressive liberal eggheads hellbent on foisting the liberal agenda down everyone's throats, whether we agree with it or not.
Well then you should be stunned because he just flip flopped on PBA.
I found it, ping or not ;-)
A51, please add me to the list.
In a conversation earlier today, a couple of us were kicking around ideas for VP possibilities for the various candidates. How does a Rudy Guiliani/Newt Gingrich ticket sound?
