Iran will not be a nuclear power.

I strongly believe in the Constitutional process. If guys like Rudy want to infringe on the right to bare arms then I suggest they propose a repeal or modification of the second amendment.
I vote no and would have plenty of "preserve the second amendment bumper stickers" to hand out.

there is very little the federal government can do to stop civil unions in the states, so long as some activist SCOTUS doesn't toss the federal defense of marriage act.

He has a lot of good answers and he's speaking truthfully.
NO hesitation.

I love what he just said: Even if we leave Iraq...WE'RE STILL AT WAR ... THEY WILL COME HERE AND KILL US. Why is that simple fact so difficult for politicians to convey?

Newt would be my first choice, but if he doesn't run, I'll work as hard as I can for Rudy.Rudy or McCain as a nominee guarantees a Hillary win in '08 no matter how hard you work.

In his mind, the Brady law could be defined as this. Did he say that?

ARRRRRRGGGGGHHHH...I'm yelling at the TV.
He is being disingenuous on some of this stuff.
He ought to at least own up to having opposed the partial birth abortion ban, which he is on record doing.
He did at least own up on the Brady Bill. I didn't catch what he said on the AWB. Apparently, he believes in the 2nd Amendment, except in cities. For some reason, I always thought the Constitution applied in all parts of the country.

That's why he's the only person out there I would vote for right now.
I think this is a single issue election.

Supports 2nd amendment. What's his definition of the 2nd amendment? A person can own one breach loading .22 long rifle?
Unless he comes out and says unequivocally that the '94 AWB was bull$h!t and people have a right to carry gun on their person he'll never get my vote.
To: DKNY
I'm not the best person so ask about that, but I think it's mostly legal things like bank accounts, etc. I am not sure.
