Landmark Legal Foundation Nominates Limbaugh Nobel Peace Prize
Landmark Legal Foundation has nominated syndicated radio Talk host Rush Limbaugh for the 2007 Nobel Peace Prize.
Limbaugh was nominated for the award for his "nearly two decades of tireless efforts to promote liberty, equality and opportunity for all humankind, regardless of race, creed, economic stratum or national origin. These are the only real cornerstones of just and lasting peace throughout the world," said Landmark President Mark R. Levin.
Rush Limbaugh is the foremost advocate for freedom and democracy in the world today," explained Levin. "Everyday he gives voice to the values of democratic governance, individual opportunity and the just, equal application of the rule of law and it is fitting that the Nobel Committee recognize the power of these ideals to build a truly peaceful world for future generations."

Rush is going to milk this for all its worth, and I mean that in a good way. Of course every news station in the world will be introducing Al Gore a Noble Peace Prize nominees and Rush will say "Hey what about me?!?!". This is absolutely priceless.

I think this outing of nominees is a slap in the face to the Nobel process. If ever there was a process that needed a good slap in the face, it is the one run by the socialist weenies who give "peace" awards to some of the biggest tyrants on earth.

The process is secret, and nominations are only made by the members of the Nobel Academy. This is a publicity stunt by Levin and Landmark, that's all.

Two windbags. Can you imagine being in the same room with the two of them? Worse yet, being caught in the middle? LOL!

No, Gore's nomination was a publicity stunt so he could raise the fees he charges for giving his Chicken Little speeches.

Is this Mark Levin the same guy who Hannity has on his radio show all the time? He plays a taped phrase from him on his show quite often too, something along thelines of "Shut-up, you big fat dope" It's hilarious when he does that
To: Reaganesque
If Rush Limbaugh won the nobel peace prize I wouldn't know what to do with myself when talking to my lefty friends( well mabay i do). I wouldn't even care if the KC CHIEFS ever made it to the superbowl. That would be fine with me.

I believe the actual phrase is - "Get off the phone, you big dope!" A true Levin classic.

Point taken....but still....That's not right!

"Well at least he's an improvement over Al Gore" I nearly fell out of my chair from retching/laughing when I heard that tidbit of news.
Goodness... and nomination for an Academey Award AND the Nobel Peace Prize all at the same time. Algore must be giddy as a schoolgirl.

to accept an award from an organization which went out of it's way to give the same award to Jimmy Carter would be an affront to any sense of human decency

He got a letter in the mail with Ed McMahon's picture on it that said, "You may have already won a Nobel Peace Prize."

Personally I would not want to win. That would put Rush in with the biggest class of losers. Once they gave it to someone who did something for this world like Jonas Salk , and great men who meant something for Peace In the world. Now it is just a class of losers, big time losers at that.

The only problem with this story is that Levin can't officially nominate anyone. He's not a member of the committee.

Oh, yes! And the best part is that he believed it. He will now be at home waiting for a bunch of Norwegians to rush up to his door with cameras and balloons. And goats - aren't the Norwegians the ones with the goats?

Somebody better get Fidel's nomination in before he croaks.

Yes. Mark, a.k.a. the Great One, is a brilliant lawyer, legal commentator, author ("Men in Black") and radio talk-show host. His resume also includes having worked in the Reagan Administration. Tune in to his show some night--it's fabulous. You will be in awe of his genius.
