DC Metroland weather report ~ Today..... Mostly cloudy. Isolated snow showers this afternoon. Highs in the upper 30s. Northwest winds 10 to 20 mph. Gusts up to 35 mph this afternoon. Chance of snow 20 percent. ~ Tonight........ Mostly cloudy in the evening...then becoming partly cloudy. Occasional flurries. Blustery with lows 18 to 23. Northwest winds 15 to 25 mph with gusts up to 40 mph.

Thank you, Connie, for preparing the Canteen for today's activities. What makes me happy? Nothing makes me happy. I'm always crabby, remember?

Ok, ok....first thing is taking a 50 away from certain Canteen members.

Then, let's see.....chocolate. Oh yes, definitely. Then, Friday nights (lead-in to the weekend). My sons & grandchildren. FReeping at the Canteen. Of course, knowing we have one of the FINEST military worldwide. And, allies who are willing do back us and die for a good cause.

Please excuse me while I go get another cup of coffee. I need one to make myself happy (hehe) while I read all the posts.

I have to make my way through the Canteen to see whatz been happening before I need to tackle work.

But, you stay right where you are. Don't touch that dial. Don't change that channel. Put down that remote. Don't leave the room. Keep your eyes on your monitor. Cause...............I'll be bock!
