Guiliani isn't half a pie. He's just a liberal that the Republicans have to live with so they could win an office in New York.
That doesn't cut it for us in the rest of the country. Conservatives get absolutely nothing by supporting Guiliani. If he gets the nomination, it's more in our interest that he loses so the Reps learn they can't win without us.
If I'm going to have a liberal president, then I prefer it to be Democrat. I gain nothing by allowing the Republicans to foist one upon me.

When the options have been "would you rather be kicked or punched" long enough, you start saying "um, neither please!"
