Illegal Immigration has been Tancredo's big cause.
Ironically, it was the probably Dem nominee who put the issue on the front pages.
If the Republicans nominate another big business, country club, open borders candidate, they will hand the election to that probably Dem nominee.
Hopefully, Tancredo or Hunter or someone similar can wrestle control of the GOP away from the country clubers.

Right message. Wrong messenger.
First aligning himself with Patsy and Bay Buchanan...and now the pro-abort gang.

One issue candidate with no shot at the nomination or GE.

This is a really good thing. Tancredo will put the illegal immigration issue back on the map. And it will put him on the map. If he is good, and he'll have to be pretty daggone good, he can operate from that ground and gain the nomination.
The GOP primary just got 100% more interesting. Oh, and forget about what the drive-by media is saying, that it's between McCain and Giuliani, or possibly Newt. Their polls and pundits are utterly meaningless right now.
In fact, if you want to know who wins this time, watch Free Republic. You'll have a bettter idea about who is going to be nominated by reading this site, than you will by looking at CBSNBCABCCNNWAPONYTYABBADABBADOO.

His Common Sense Express approach to the major issues facing us is far from a single issue candidate and it will put every RINO in the race immediately on the defensive....Chance or not he has my vote...Not another quality candidate in the race. Not one.

From your link
Tanton is also one of the most prominent conservative financiers of Planned Parenthood in the United States, having helped found in the mid-1960s the first Planned Parenthood chapter in northern Michigan.
Interesting info that I wasn't aware of

Check out the "issues" page:
Social Issues
As a devout Christian, father, and grandfather, I am a strong believer in the rights to life for the unborn child. I also believe that marriage is between a man and a woman. For years, activist judges have undermined both life and marriage. As president I would stop this by appointing strict constructionists as judges, reining in the power of the judiciary, and supporting constitutional amendments that respect marriage and life.
Tancredo has got my vote, big time.

Not with his Buchanan and
pro-abortion ties. See post #3. Both make his nomination less viable than a Keyes' candidacy...and that's not saying much.

I was surprised to hear him say he is in it to win it. That's different from before, when he was just going to run push the illegal immigration issue. Maybe that's because of Ron Paul's preemptive attack on him, saying that Paul is in to win and not to push a single pet issue.
I still don't hold any delusions of him winning the primary. But he has my full support.

Well, we will see how he does. As I have said before, I will support whoever turns out to be the nominee for the Republicans...democrats are too dangerous to be in the Oval Office.
