Child pornography was found on the home computer of the hulking loner accused of kidnapping two St. Louis boys, law-enforcement sources said Sunday.
As a result, the feds are considering slapping Michael Devlin, 41, with child-porn charges, the sources said.
Devlin, a 300-pound pizza-parlor manager, was arrested Friday in the kidnapping of Shawn Hornbeck, 15, who was kept for four years, and William Ownby, 13, who was rescued after four days.

Young Ben Ownby is 13 but could easily pass for 11 or 12. The perp had no way of knowing, he just liked the look of him and took the opportunity. Ben is likely on the cusp of a real growth spurt. The perp might have become quickly disenchanted with him, too. I am so thankful to God that this despicable pervert was CAUGHT.
I guess they finally found a motive.
So it's OK with you if a 41 year old man picks up 11 year old males on rural roads, takes them home, and keeps them his apartment for 4 years. Even when their pictures are all over the news and community saying their families are looking for them?
Why in God's name did they have these children in the news conferences????
that was so stupid of the parents....Now all this stuff will come out and there is no privacy for these boys!
There are also reports out there that speculate that Shawn was beaten on a fairly regular basis. The cops were called, but couldn't identify where the screaming was coming from.

Being childless except for all the grown men you may have "adopted", means you have no say in this matter.
It would have come out whether the boys were at the press conferences or not.
IMO, facing the issues head-on is a good way to start recovering from the trauma.
Before I can make judgement about exactly what happened here, I need to have a lot more information? So far I have concluded that Devlin is guilty of 'something' but I am not sure what that 'something' is...

Ditto. And if it WERE true, I'm sure the Feds will be able to differentiate between a pop up, email or Devlin's search habits.
This whole story is so reminicent of the Steven Stayner story. Y'all remember that pervert who took him when he was just 7 years old, somewhere out in CA, then when he was 16, he took another little boy and a few days later, the perv was caught. I think he got out after about 10 years, but Stayner is DEAD. He couldn't be whole again. Even after getting married and fathering 2 beautiful children, the poor boy was ruined and couldn't reconcile anything that happened to him. I sure hope that this man never gets out, and the dark side of me hopes that he gets a huge dose of his own medicine while there

Oh he touched them alright. And I completely agree with you, he doesn't deserve any more freedom, EVER. I think he's gonna be so depressed at his new home...not only will he not be able to fulfill his lust for little boys, but just think, he will never get the kinda pizza he's been a glutton for all these years...so sad/sarc

The reason I say this is that I downloaded a music video once and didn't bother to open it. Something like two months later I saw it in my folder and decided to watch it. It turned out to be intentionally misslabeled porn. It wasn't kiddie porn, but nevertheless...
I am assuming they found more than just a misslabeled file or something, but just saying they found "kiddie porn" just isn't enough.
Maybe that darned Duke rapists thing has me jaded.
