Taxi Driving in Seattle--Even "Moderate" Muslims hate Jews
Dafka ^ | 1-2-06 | Roger L. Simon

Yesterday afternoon, after wrapping up our vacation with a couple of pleasant hours in the Elliot Bay Book Company, Sheryl, Madeleine and I started back to our hotel to pick up our bags and head home to LA. We were with our friend and my Pajamas colleague Gerard. He proposed we take a cab; he would drop us by the hotel before continuing to his home.

We found one quickly. It was driven by an African guy. We had to instruct him about the location of our hotel; it was new. In the course of this I asked him where he was from. Kenya, he said. But then quickly added he was Somali. Many Somalians live in Kenya.

Ah, Somalia. Immediately the three adults in the car perked up. We acknowledged we knew there was big trouble in that country, the attack from Ethiopia on the ICU, etc. To our surprise, our driver immediately launched into a vitriolic attack on Al Qaeda. They were evil violent men, hijacking Islam across the globe. He had details of their infiltration of Somalia from a phone call he had made the previous night, how they were using Saudi money, etc. Thousands of people were being murdered by these Wahhabis for no reason. He was obviously following the situation closely. Al Qaeda was a danger to all mankind, he said.

It was a refreshing to hear this view from a Moslem taxi driver in Seattle. He was obviously pleased that we recognized the travails of his people too. So he continued with his explication of what was behind this terrible situation - how the Moslem religion could have been taken over by these violent forces. Someone was behind the rise of this Saudi Wahhabism . The answer, he said, was Israel. It was all an Israeli plot. They were behind the Wahhabis.

Suddenly our hearts sank. How could a man who seemed so reasonable, so knowledgeable, say something so obviously crazy?

Just then we were at our hotel. Sheryl and I left the cab, stunned. I phoned Gerard from the airport. What had the man said on the way to his place? Gerard - wisely - had let him continue. There was no point in fighting with a man like that. Better to learn how his mind worked. Gerard simply inquired why the Israelis would want to back Al Qaeda when Al Qaeda was sworn to destroy Israel. The man replied by talking about his childhood, his Islamic education. He had learned about the Jews from the Koran. That was the truth, of course.

Taxi driving in Seattle. So it goes.

Thanks for the link. Interesting site at first glance. I'll look around a bit more at home tonight.

I have come to the realization that the Constitution is not about my "opinion" of a man or a law. The site you sent me to solidifies that realization

There's a lot of libertarian stuff there, but mostly along the Classic Liberal line, which, imo, is what the Founders were.

Which is when you realized you were wrong...right? ;)

No kidding.

As a matter of fact, it made me wish I had a loaded gun at my hip, and another in a holster on my ankle. :)

"One more muzzie terrorist attack in America and every one off these swinging dicks will have to pack up their korans and families and go back to whatever hellhole they originated from."

The other day I happened to wonder if the rats would be aboard this war against islamo-fascism today if flight 93 had slammed the House of Representatives instead of a field in PA. I doubt it. I came to the conclusion there is no way they will allow a GOP success in Iraq, as that would cast the rats into the political wilderness for a at least a decade.

This article is clear and unambiguous proof that all Muslims are antithetical to America and must be eleminated before they eleminate us. Sorry to be so blunlty non-PC, but that is the way they framed the conflict.

The only difference between Radical Islam and the moderates is the method of eliminating the Jews.

From the Hadith Volume 4, Book 52, Number 176: >blockquote> Volume 4, Book 52, Number 176: Narrated 'Abdullah bin 'Umar:

Allah's Apostle said, "You (i.e. Muslims) will fight with the Jews till some of them will hide behind stones. The stones will (betray them) saying, 'O 'Abdullah (i.e. slave of Allah)! There is a Jew hiding behind me; so kill him.' "

"The citizens of this country have a bit of thinking to do, I'd say, because we might have to take care of the situation ourselves."

That's what the electorate has been doing at every election in which they cared to so do.

The beauty of the American government, so far, is that with the soap box and the ballot box, there was no need for the cartridge box.

Islam is our enemy. But who are Islam's soldiers?

In the Army, less than 10% are actual trigger pullers. The vast majority are there to feed, house, supply, and transport the trigger pullers, plus gather info as to where to point the trigger pullers at

The Muslim woman in her scarf walking down the street may be feeding and sheltering jihadis, and may be gathering operational information for them at work

Rule of thumb #37:

If a taxi driver wants to talk, listen. If he doesn't, don't encourage him to.

From birth teaching, people are ignoring this about Islam, and to ignore it is dangerous.

Cal Thomas said, on Newswatch Saturday, that we ignore the rampant construction of Mosques around the USA too our peril... said they are going up like Starbucks and the media is ignoreing it when we should all be asking: why and what are they doing in all those mosques.

There are no Americans driving taxi's in Seattle. There a limited white taxi drivers. Most of those are old eastern Europe types. I took a few cabs over the past 14 years living there (I have now moved home to Alabama). IN ALL THOSE YEARS, I never got a white driver, and all were from India or the middle east or Africa.

Seattle has a massive population from these areas. On 9-1-1, a section of Seattle which houses the Somalis population were openly celebrating the attacks in the streets!!!!!!!!!

said they are going up like Starbucks and the media is ignoreing it when we should all be asking: why and what are they doing in all those mosques.

Why do any of us wait for the media to report on something before it becomes True? People in the cities these mosques are being built in, if they had nerve, could take care of it on a local level, one small snub at a time - but they don't.

For instance, boycott the builders who are building these mosques, or builders do not have to accept the job, they could refuse for many "reasons" other than telling the muzzies they don't like them. Will builders take the complaining, whining and threats..or the MONEY?

Through a newspaper article in my hometown about the "religion of peace", I found out that a very fine Physician my husband sees is a muslim (I should have known). On positive proof, we dropped him like a hot potato - no need to tell him WHY. But I won't give my money or efforts to any known muslim.

And if I want to eat a ham sandwich on the PUBLIC steps in front of a mosque, I'll dang sure do it! Citizens DO NOT have to be tolerant! I'm not saying be abusive, but the government has no business to tell ANY of us to TOLERATE them, build their homes, shop at their stores..FUND THEM!

Sorry, it's still early, this rant probably makes no sense. But I took the time to type, so I'll spell check and send. LL

Yes, it makes sense. We just need to know a whole lot of Americans are not as tuned in as many here on FR.

As to boycotting, you know the story about Farmer Baker in Katy Texas? Somehow some of his family farm that had been sold off was resold to Muslims who are building a mosque, school, "training center" on said property.

Farmer Baker isn't happy and doesn't want it there, so he has started raising pigs along the fence line and holding pig races on the weekends along the fence line....

Muslims are ticked off, but worse, they are "lying" (publicly) about what they are telling him -- things like you had better pack up and move to which he has witnesses and they deny....Baker says he isn't going anywhere and he will continue to raise pigs there..

I think I wouldn't want a mosque, school and training center across my fence, either, and the racket of the daily call to prayer would drive me nuts.

No, I had not heard. That is hilariously righteous!

Farmer Bakers only "mistake" in his dealings is to let it be openly known that he does not want the muzzies there..he should just start raising the Pigs (and pig races? ROFLOL!) and act surprised every time a muzzie complains.

They don't like pigs - we don't like mosques! What a guy, if they ever take him to court I'll send a few $ in his defense
