YOU got a hunnert!! High five!!
Hey, how about that! I think this is a first. LOL.
Hugs for our special ((((((Kitty Mittens))))))!!!
So aren't I cuz..
Thank you, Mama_Bear. Agreeing with you in prayer.
So true, Mayor! Thank you for your kind words and support of the troops. The Afghanistans won't even let any of the troops adopt any of the orphans, as no "infidels" should raise any of the children. Afghanistans have to be careful in how they interact with the Americans. There was a case of a 14 year old boy who was very sick. His parents could not let the military help him and get him the critical medical care he needed in fear that the Taliban would come and not only kill the family, but the whole village! Our troops are fighting not only a war, but prejudice and hatred. They are doing everything to show how much Americans care, but it is an uphill battle, especially with the media!
Thanks, La Enchiladita! Love the name! I am so proud of my husband and his service to our country!
Wow, so sad that the very people that are there to help them are such danger.
We do what we can to get the truth out.
I end up in arguements quite often here in Buffalo over the war on terrorism. I will defend the Military and our Troops to the very end. I swore to protect and defend the Constitution and this country in 1976 and still hold that Oath close to my heart.
God Bless Scubachick.
It is sad, but it is men like you, here in the States, who will help our troops abroad! You have the same honor and attitude as Mr. Scubachick! He swore to defend this country and he will do so till his dying day. He has missed more than half of our young daughter's life and he has done so cheerfully and willingly. He says we can fight them over there or here in our cities!
God Bless You, Mayor and thank you for your service to our country!
Thank you!! The pride is deserved and well-earned.
Afghanistan is a rough, rocky place and I assume the winter can be bitter.
But those snow-covered mountains are a gorgeous sight too.
The winters there are very bitter. My husband woke up the other day and it was 36 degrees in his room! The mountains are beautiful, but also dangerous...snipers and Taliban hide in areas, especially where troops go through passes.
