CAIRO, Egypt // The deputy leader of al-Qaida accused moderate Arab leaders of being traitors for cooperating with the United States in a message posted on the Internet yesterday to mark the most important Islamic holiday. Ayman al-Zawahri's wished the Palestinian people a happy Eid al-Adha, but lashed out at moderate Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas and his Fatah movement. "Those who had sold Palestine, the secular traitors, cannot be your brothers. Do not recognize their legitimacy. ... And don't sit with them," al-Zawahri said in a 15-minute audiotape message that was posted on a Web site that is commonly used by Islamic insurgents.

"Traitors" in alqaed's eyes is as much of a compliment as "Palestinians" siding with Saddam was the opposite.
So moderates are traitors to the Muslim faith. What are the extremists who kill Muslims, supporters of the Muslim faith? If that's the case, then Islam needs to die and join Facisim, Totalitarianism, and Communism on the garbage heap of failed societies.

The political theocracy of Islamic imperialism cannot be permitted in the modern world.
Muslims are free to worship the moon, metoers, and be afraid that pigs will make them "like pigs". So be it.
But they cannot restrict the religious freedoms of others, cannot issue a death penalty on muslims who leave the cult, er faith, cannot set up two groups in society "muslims" and "kufir/infidel", people with separate rights and protections under the law.
Islamic societies are closed to missionaries. I do not see why they are permitted to spread their political system in the West since they are closed to the Western ways.
