Several Democratic strategists last week urged Clinton to unleash a “charisma offensive” in the new year to counter the saturated media coverage that has helped propel Obama up the polls.

Preposterous!

Michelle Obama had previously expressed concern that her husband might be vulnerable to a racist assassination attempt

. . . paranoia, or just a little race-baiting by the reporter?

Hillary is about as charismatic as a hemorrhoid , and as likeable as a tarantula.

“charisma offensive”

Instead of just plain old offensive like she is now.

As Dennis Miller says, Hillery has all the money without the messy trappings of having to earn it.

Why is it the only excitement about Hillery is found at CBS, NBC and CBN?

I can just hear her screeching, strident, atonal voice already...

“She doesn’t need to start a war of any kind, but I don’t think she knows how to handle [Obama],” Strother said. “I think they’re preoccupied with it right now.”

The problem with Obama is he is one of the few candidates out there for who Hillary doesn't posses an FBI file. Fortunately for Hillary, his family history has many nasty skeletons in Africa, and they are also Muslim. Obama himself was a Muslim for 25 years, and likely only converted for the convenience of political ambition.

I can just imagine her in a "charisma offensive"

She has the "offensive" part alright....it's just the "charisma" she is missing and will never had.

You could use Hillary's "charisma", instead of ice, to keep the beer cold.

Few presidents have been as adept as Clinton at charming ordinary voters, but opinion polls have repeatedly indicated that much of America regards Hillary as cold, calculating, strident and ideological.

On this, much of America is right.

That's so funny. She's been the darling of polls whilst keeping her mouth shut. Let's see what happens when she has to say all kinds of crazy things, to satisfy the left wingnuts. "Universal Health Care! Run By US!"

I sure hope none of this comes as a surprise.

The Clinton "Death and Destruction Machine" has been super fine tuned. It's turned on and running in neutral. Soon enough The Hildabeaste will kick it into drive and the other Donk candidates will drop like flies.

But I'm sure she's in no hurry. Like a cat with a mouse, she's just playing with them for now. 22 months is a long time. No rush.

I've said it many times - she has no charisma and worst of all is not even likable. She cannot win the presidency, therefore not the nomination, and will be out of the race for it early.

IMO .. Hellary and Obama are not running against each other .. they are running together

Obama is a rainmaker for the DNC and can pull in the votes and $$$$ from not just the base but also from the independents that they need to win

Obama will settle for 2nd fiddle knowing the top spot is right around the corner

Read his 2nd book

Edwards scares me. Charismatic and charming, unlike the last two empty suits that ran. Democrat women will flock to him in droves. Sort of like a JFK-lite.

Hopefully Hillary! will sabotage his campaign in good shape.

Iowa is meaningless. She'll announce that she isn't participating, and then ignore the result. Or she'll get a "favorite son" of some kind to get in the race, making the entire exercise meaningless.
