She was admitted to the hospital yesterday, on Chrismas evening, and has been diagnosed with congestive heart failure. She is 82 years old, and has many other health issues. She had diabetes, had heart surgery 15 years ago, and subsequent heart attacks. She is unable to undergo any other surgeries, and all three main arteries to her heart are 90-100 percent blocked. She's not doing well, but I'm not ready to let her go.

My prayers to you and your mom. I just lost my mother on Dec. 14 after a short run with cancer. I wasn't ready to let her go either, but God was ready to take her.

Keep your faith. My mom had heart problems starting when she was 60, had 3 strokes throughout her life and lived to 93. Mom lived in her home until she was 91 able to live her dream of independence. Finally we had to move her to a home for the elderly when her mind was not as sharp as it should be to live alone. I will pray for your Mom and you and your family.
