Let's settle the toilet seat controversy once and for all. It's a matter of function, and how the device was designed.

1.)When doing what requires sitting, the seat is down.

2.)When doing what requires standing, the seat is up.

3.)All other times, the seat AND LID are down, for sanitation and aesthetic purposes.

Great, now that we're done with that, let's tackle the tissue roll over/tissue roll under problem.

my attitude is that if women can leave a toilet seat down, men can leave it up.

The real issue here is that women aren't leaving the seat up.
