He'll be up for parole in eight months, less if he served jail time for which he will receive credit. They should lock him up longer than that for claiming to be a hacker. Always work through proxies and always delete the server logs. Otherwise you'll end up with a wrist slap like this idiot got.

Me too. A couple of years ago, I bought a few shirts from them, and a few months later my bank had to issue me a new card due to some type of theft of my info. They never said who it was, and I didn't lose any money.

Regardless, since the incident a few years ago, I've never purchased anything off the Internet. But even if you call them and give them a cc# number, they'll still store the info in the same database as the online purchases, and you're still at risk. Gee, thanks Algore.

I never did hear why the Protest Warriors site went down months ago, but every once in a while I check the link and it now says:
"The ProtestWarrior forum will be back up soon...".

The law should have a penalty for each persons information stolen and that would have put the little tard into prison for the rest of his life. If any proof exists that this criminal used the info for wire fraud or passed it on to those who did, there should be grounds for civil suits against him.

But seriously, he's likely going to spend his time in solitary when his fellow inmates find out about his days of snitching to the police for reduced sentencing by supplying the DA with videotape and names of accomplices, and he'll have no love from the guards when they learn about his charges for assaulting a Chicago Police officer with a beer bottle, or his comment about the sitting VP at Defcon.
