No Regan got fired because she spent a huge amount of money on a project that did nothing but embarass all the companies involved. Losing vast quantities of money on a project that goes south can sometimes be forgiven, embarassing the company can sometimes be forgiven, losing vast quantities of money WHILE embarassing the company is NEVER forgiven.
Look for the soon-to-be-published story of this phase of her career at BBBB (better booksellers' bargain bins) early next year. Working title: "If I Were Employed".
