One of the most grotesquely cynical lies I've heard in a long time was Regan's assertion that she thought the $3 million Simpson was likely to get from the project was actually going to his kids, and she "could live with that." How big of her.
Sounds like she's taking the hit for the OJ book. Look for Bill O'Reilly to get slapped next for shaming Murdock into backing down on the OJ show.

People are comparing this "fictional" book about Judith Regan, "If I Were Employed," to 'The Devil Wore Prada.' Evidently she was NASTY to her employees. Could end up as a movie...

That is a terrible picture of her. She's really quite attractive. And I'd look for her to start her own imprint. If she puts her name on a coloring book, it will hit the shelves at Borders and Barnes and Noble with a huge pre release campaign. She'd have to fail pretty miserably to erase her past successes.

She likely put the company in the position of paying out big bucks up front, and then when the book and TV revenue sources dried up, she left the company w a big loss.
She's got enough in the bank to not worry about lunch for the rest of her life, so no big deal.

Yeah, this OJ thing was a mistake, but that notwithstanding, I have a lot of respect for her accomplishments; and, I'm hoping she can be a successful startup conservative publisher on her own.
