Memories? Sure, but I'd be happy if I could just get my memory back!
To: Cavalcabo
Ah, Christmas memories of receiving gifts like underwear and socks. Things Mom and Dad would buy me anyway but Christmas was an excuse to give them to me as a gifts. I NEVER buy my kids anything useful for Christmas, just toys, toys, toys.

Forget this crap about "quality time". It's bull! Quality can't be forced. Most people think quality time means $activity-laden time, rather than interactive time.

Actually, doing the math in the article I think he went into the future to pick it up-the writer is 44 and said "when I was 6..." and referred to a 1970 Fury.

By wishing even one person a Merry Christmas, you have caused Congress to create a national religion and forced all of us to join it.

Sometimes I think that's the best thing a father can do for his children.

I'm pretty certain AndyPappy's father was joking about the whole thing.

Didn't seem to add up quite right, although the 1970 Fury if BRAND NEW would've come out in September of 1969.
To: Cavalcabo
I remember my dad was in Vietnam for Christmas, my older brother helped my mom play Santa as my younger brother and I watched from the top of the stairs.
The next year they divorced and I don't remember to many more Christmas's until 30 years later when my wife and I started to have Christmas for our own.
