Its rarely done. But it is the right call. Reading the Neturei Karta out of the Jewish people is symbolically important since they claim to be True Orthodox Jews. But every Orthodox Jew shuns them like the plague.

I'm glad - that was a truly disgusting picture. Is this group the one known in New York as the Satmars, or are they something entirely separate? I know there are a fair number of these anti-Zionist Jews in New York (well, not only the raving Israel-hating liberals), but I was never very clear on who they were within the orthodox community.

Growing up, long long ago, there were many in our jewish community that were not zionists.

There are many jewish sects today who believe that Israel is not the promised land. They are still waiting for the messiah.

I have no problem with that. I do have a problem with anyone supporting a madman who wishes to annihilate the country of Israel and the people living there.
