A private laboratory hired by the prosecution in the Duke lacrosse case failed to report that it found DNA from multiple males in the accuser's body and underwear, according to a defense motion filed today. The lab, DNA Security of Burlington, found that the DNA did not match the three defendants, their lacrosse teammates or anyone else who submitted their DNA to police, including the accuser's boyfriend.
The new evidence emerged in thousands of documents handed over to the defense in October.

I remember him too and remember him saying that.
How obliging of them to fail to report.
No wonder Nifong picked them.
That lab ought to be investigated right along with Nifong.

Of course, everybody knows that and has known that for some time now, but Nifong remains the powerful one --- he's running this circus.
Not only that, but the AG could also investigate the lab as a way to take out Nifong, but there's no political will at the state level to touch a hair on Nifong's head.

[To refresh everyone's memory] - Nifong said he met with the accuser and an investigator on April 11, but didn't discuss details of the case because the woman was "too traumatized."

On April 18 and 19, DNA Security ran tests on pubic hair from rape kit; multiple male DNA was found that did not match the players or any other sample taken by police, the motion said.
On April 20 or 21, Meehan again met with Nifong and the two investigators in his Burlington office.
Nifong approached the whole lab thing in true rat fashion. he did the same thing they do when they lose an election. Just keep re-counting "newly discovered" votes until you get the results you want.
"The DNA was contaminated AT THE LAB...........and guess whose DNA contimnated it?
The OWNER of this lab!"
Are you sure the owner's DNA "contamination" happened at the lab?
She had a, robust business...
See my post #15 for how likely that is, unfortunately.
You know what I just saw? On Google News search on this story, there was a link to the Houston Chronicle story about this and the headline was "DNA Clears Duke Lacrosse Player"........but now they have changed it.
ROFLMAO................well, they didn't say!
Who is Meehan? The link had no reference to him.
This is outrageous! It was bad before, but this "new" info is blockbuster!
If I were the parents of the three indicted players, I would be spitting NAILS--and I don't mean the Lee press-on kind! UGH!
Nifong MUST go dowwwwwwn!
That is an exellent idea.
That sort of term, BTW is called an eponym and comes into being only if it is used enough to become eponymous.
Like Diesel, Alzheimer, Parkinson, Bork, Edsel and Lewinski, the name Nifong is distinctive and evocative enough to become popular.
Nifong = the lowest, most despicable, sleazeball extortion artist (or act of extortion) that is allowed in the courts of North Carolina.
How's that for a definition?
ewwwwww!!! this is getting more gross by the minute!
"Ive said before that if I was a father of one of those boys I would make it my lifes work to ruin that DA, finacially, politically, spriritually, and personally"
I totally agree. I also believe young men (they are not BOYS) such as these should not be paying a hooker/stripper to "perform" at their house.
