A private laboratory hired by the prosecution in the Duke lacrosse case failed to report that it found DNA from multiple males in the accuser's body and underwear, according to a defense motion filed today. The lab, DNA Security of Burlington, found that the DNA did not match the three defendants, their lacrosse teammates or anyone else who submitted their DNA to police, including the accuser's boyfriend.
The new evidence emerged in thousands of documents handed over to the defense in October.

For what he put these families through there is not enough money in the entire state to reimburse them.
I would LOVE to be in that courtroom Friday morning to hear him explaining THIS.
He cannot brush this away with a laugh like he usually does.
But I think you're right: he won't stop; he'll shoot the moon.
These guys did nothing of the kind. No comparison at all.
More like the Twana Brawley case that was championed by Al Sharpton to this day. A lying tramp who stayed out all night then accused white police officers of raping her.
One of the men falsely accused committed suicide and the other's lives were ruined.
The same complete results? I dunno, why would he ask another lab to test? Unless... he couldn't strongarm the 1st lab into Tweakfonging, but knew that DNA Security was ammenable?
Go! You must attend! I will buy you a lovely box lunch to take with you.
Trust me, been there, done that -- you won't have a pot to pee in or a window to throw it out of -- even if you made a nice living. It goes FAST, but what are you going to do when they are holding your child hostage? You pay. After the smoke clears, you try to catch up on the mortgage payments, credit cards and then you pray every night to live long enough to pay it all off, plus give the kid a chance in life to finish his education.
You don't have to qualify your information as to it being second hand, just think what you would do if you suddenly had to come up with in excess of $35,000.00, plus bail, plus investigators, plus deposition costs -- for a minor felony charge. This was a major with incredibly far reaching recriminations. I knew what these poor families were going to have to endure, then try to put gifts under the tree for Christmas, send the rest of the kids to school, continue to parent the balance of the children, sleep with an eye open at night to make sure the hostage wouldn't throw in the towel and put on your game face for the rest of the world -- because if you look down or out to lunch at any given moment, they think you're a whiner.
My heart is in my prayers for them every night -- my love for them is deep and sincere.
Meehan is making sphincter diamonds even as we ponder. ;>)
I am hoping the owner ends up in a pound me in the ___ prison along with Nifong.
I hope we don't have to pay it, friend.
I fail to see why the state does not remove Nifong from this case and dismiss all the charges, AT ONCE.
I think you answered your own question, friend.
OK, thanks.
I was ignorant of the fact that the GJ sequence is a prosecutor-dominated event. "Sufficient evidence to proceed"...I suppose.
I'm probably going to ditch work and go. Can I have the lunch? :)
If he doctored the reports in this case it just might lead to a stampede of lawyers of other wronged parties.
This beats anything I've ever seen. I can't help but notice a couple of things: 1. The Black Panther group seems to have dropped their interest in this case. 2. The silence from Sharpton and Jackson has been deafening.

Exactly, the lab is likely done. The employees might do tests later under a new lab name, except the guy who met with Nifong.
The NC AG can end this tommorrow. As I said on the other thread and this makes it even easier, all he need do is call a grand jury and indict Nifong. He could do it before the Friday hearing.
No kidding!
They did not rape her, assault her, or any other such thing.
if he does than he is a reciculous idiot who needs to be fired! The case is caput and the Duke boys obviously didn't do anything to this girl!
