Meehan is a manager from "DNA Security" the corporation that did the DNA testing on the samples provided by Nifong.

I copied and pasted the quote right from the article but I did just check the link and now I can't find the quote, I can only assume that the article has been revised.

Perhaps there is an archived version I can find.
