A Few of FR's Finest....Every Day
Free Republic made its debut in September, 1996, and the forum was added in early 1997.   Over 100,000 people have registered for posting privileges on Free Republic, and the forum is read daily by tens of thousands of concerned citizens and patriots from all around the country and the world.
A Few of FR's Finest....Every Day was introduced on June 24, 2002. It's only a small room in JimRob's house where we can get to know one another a little better; salute and support our military and our leaders; pray for those in need; and congratulate those deserving. We strive to keep our threads entertaining, fun, and pleasing to look at, and often have guest writers contribute an essay, or a profile of another FReeper.
On Mondays please visit us to see photos of A FEW OF FR'S VETERANS AND ACTIVE MILITARY
If you have a suggestion, or an idea, or if there's a FReeper you would like to see featured, please drop one of us a note in FR mail.
We're having fun and hope you are!

Hi everyone. I have some sad news - Winston started showing signs of illness yesterday. I gave him some betta medicine to try to make him feel better, but it wasn't in time. He passed away a little over an hour ago.

Good bye, Winston. I'll miss you. :-(

You Are a Boston Creme Donut

You have a tough exterior. No one wants to mess with you. But on the inside, you're a total pushover and completely soft. You're a traditionalist, and you don't change easily. You're likely to eat the same doughnut every morning, and pout if it's sold out.
What donut are you?

This was me for the last couple of days...

...except I'm not as efficient...

Are you tired of the tedious task of folding, stuffing and sealing envelopes by hand? Hasler's M3000 Folder/Inserter is an easy-to-use, economical solution. The M3000 simplifies the process so virtually anyone can handle the task quickly and efficiently. And it's up to 20 times faster than manual processing!

Bob, Winston ping to 181. I didn't know if you knew. I remember back when tulip got Winston & talked about taking him back and forth with her from school to home. I also remember your version of moving your fish.

"I remember back when tulip got Winston & talked about taking him back and forth with her from school to home. I also remember your version of moving your fish."

I was describing a safari up the banks of the Susquehanna and into the wilds of central Pennsylvania in quest of some delectable roast turkey.

Our fish had to swim the whole distance. At the end of the trip, they blew on their fingerscales, polished them against their vests, and said, "Let's see those salmon do that in four hours!"

Unfortunately, such a party-hearty lifestyle takes its toll. With Bettas, as you know, it's "Live hard, die young -- leave a good looking corpse."

Sorry, Tulip. Bye, Winston.

Terriers like mice.

I'm sure he'd be pleased. The mouse might not fare so well.
