I wonder if Carter was asked to show up for any of these shows. I read a thread yesterday that Carter is claiming he is being blacklisted on college campus's (he offered to speak for free). He also complained that the student body had a high number of Jewish students.
I get it, "it's the Jew's fault"
That lady from CSPAN was more correct than the media thought, this book just proves it.

I was reading the speech given by Rick Santorum on the senate floor clearly one of the best speech's i have ever read.
This man understands whats going on and if America don't wake the hell up everything we love will be gone and what took our founding fathers years to work for will all be gone in a flash and we will be slaves to the islamofascists and thus the dream that was once called America will be forever be lost so this Baker and Hamilton study can spew this treason all they want too there only trying deny the truth and to themselves on what we are really fighting for as is most Americans who won't stand up for the truth when it is spoken.

Looks like this morning will be filled with the Back-patting Commission,
Partie Deux.
There hasn't been so much self-congratulatory praise, laud, and applause since the 9-11 Committee Report was released.
Timmy R will probably have his happy face on for sure this morning on MTP.
Mark Steyn was probably too busy elsewhere to be invited to the morning mush fest:

Chicago Sun Times ^ | 12/10/2006 | Mark Steyn Well, the ISG -- the Illustrious Seniors' Group -- has released its 79-point plan. How unprecedented is it? Well, it seems Iraq is to come under something called the "Iraq International Support Group." If only Neville Chamberlain had thought to propose a "support group" for Czechoslovakia, he might still be in office. Or guest-hosting for Oprah. But, alas, such flashes of originality are few and far between in what's otherwise a testament to conventional wisdom. How conventional is the ISG's conventional wisdom? Try page 49: "RECOMMENDATION 5: The Support Group should consist of Iraq and all the states bordering Iraq,... |

It would be good if there were some counter-point. But there will be no counter-point. I'm going to watch it all, or at least start out watching it all. I might not be able to take it, especially if the "questioners" actually get down on their knees and start "praying" to these two cadavers.

I usually don't watch the Sunday shows, I'm usually off to church by 9:30. However, today I am caring for my loving wife who had hip-replacment surgery Dec. 7th, and came home yesterday, so betwen burning the bacon and caring for spouse, I'll TRY to stomach one or two....

I cannot figure out why this is listed as "Department of Transportation, Auditing" unless it is just one more attempt at obfuscation of the cspam schedule of events that might interest supporters of the Bush Administration. I missed that one as I quickly scanned the rest of the shows........also because of the strange venue-listing. I usually try to post a few extra programs (without posting the whole dang listing) that people might find interesting, like the show about the history of the AK-47.

Only in Washington DC would you form a Congressional Commission and include not a single retired military officer with Counter Insurgency experience or any Arab-Persian Political/Cultural Regional Expert on the panel.
Some where the ghost of LBJ is laughing his butt off watching another bunch of DC policy geeks and Beltway insiders trying to micromanage a war from 9,000 miles away
Figures two weeks in a row when we have virtually NO one with even the slightest clue about Iraq on the Sunday Shows spending all their time demonstrating their total ignorance on the topic, I manage to draw the top 10 Judging.
This is going to be painful yet again. :-(

Now that the media has already decided how to resolve the Iraq issue, GW Bush could turn to the domestic front and actually reduce the size of government, like a conservative would do. You know, reduce government agency payrolls by 20%; not headcount, but dollars.
After all, if the Democrats want to count the funding for our military in Iraq as part of the overall DOD spending in the normal budget, there needs to be a reduction in spending elsewhere. Time to start this now.

AB used to give his "special" award for the guests or hosts . After Clinton, this week there may be more contenders for that award.

First impression only but Baker/Hamilton do NOT seem to be quite as impressed with their own report as first noticed.
They must have gotten around to actually reading what their underlings wrote.
