Interview After Words with Larry Kahaner C-SPAN, BookTV Peter W. Singer , Brookings Institution Larry Kahaner Larry Kahaner talked about his book AK-47: The Weapon that Changed the Face of War, published by John Wiley and Sons. In his book Mr. Kahaner traces the rifles role in wars from Vietnam to Iraq. According to the author, no tool has spread so much raw power to so many people in so little time in the history of warfare. The guest interviewer was Peter Singer, who directs a project on 21st century warfare for the Brookings Institution. |
Last week, This Week (Without David Brinkley) had on actor Richard Dryfuss. This Sunday it's Ed Asner. What are they starting, Communist Actor Sunday? Who's on next week, Babra Streisand?
No one in the Iraq Surrender Group was ever served in the Military. Yet, the Enemedia(thanks Lucianne) treat them like rock stars.
May be because, they consulted Thomas Friedman, Leslie Gelb, Sandy Berger, Anthony Lake, Ken Pollack, Thomas Ricks, and George Will. Hugh Hewitt calls The ISG Report: The Emperor Has No Clothes.
Couple of days ago, Thomas Friedman went on Imus & said - "insurgents defeated US Soldiers in Iraq" - He is an idiot. NO ONE CAN DEFEAT OUR SOLDIERS.
Morning, Rod. Surrender Monkey Sunday is the best way to describe it.
What a propaganda blitz.
Another prdictable guest, Gordon Smith. Anyone on any remote corner shout something against Iraq war, will found himself immediately on the Enemedia. Shameful.
Mark Steyn calls them the Surrender Gran'pas.
Also on the current cspam schedule:
04:51 PM EST
1:08 (est.)
Forum
Pentagon Town Hall Meeting
Department of Transportation, Auditing
Donald Rumsfeld , Department of Defense
****
I cannot figure out why this is listed as "Department of Transportation, Auditing" unless it is just one more attempt at obfuscation of the cspam schedule of events that might interest supporters of the Bush Administration.
******
PS: I am watching a 1991 video of the first day of the ground war of Desert Storm. It is very strange to see reporters and military experts talking without a lot of graphics, bars, crawls, timestamps, etc on the screen.
Read that srticle. Steyn was good on O'Reilly, calling AP's bluff. For whatever reason, O'Reilly didn't persue further. Fox should sign him up & drop Al Damato likes for contribution.
Good morning, Alas. Baker and Hamilton day I see.
Looks like the media is covering for him until the ruckus dies down.
