Only in Washington DC would you form a Congressional Commission and include not a single retired military officer with Counter Insurgency experience or any Arab-Persian Political/Cultural Regional Expert on the panel.
Some where the ghost of LBJ is laughing his butt off watching another bunch of DC policy geeks and Beltway insiders trying to micromanage a war from 9,000 miles away
Figures two weeks in a row when we have virtually NO one with even the slightest clue about Iraq on the Sunday Shows spending all their time demonstrating their total ignorance on the topic, I manage to draw the top 10 Judging.
This is going to be painful yet again. :-(

Do you agree that the ISG is nothing but pure treason?

Very True, Johnnie. But, the
Enemedia seems to be Depressed, Associated Press here.
Call President Bush a lame duck, a weakened leader, a disappointed president whose party lost control of Congress - and the decider when it comes to a new approach in Iraq. After all the studies and recommendations and talk, the president will call the shots.
Members of Congress can complain and investigate, yet there is little they can do to change Iraq policy short of cutting off funds. Regardless of Bush's diminished state, the ball is in his court. While Congress can declare war, the president, after all, is the one who moves troops.

Best post I've read so far. DC leads until the people speak and maybe, Maybe, we will in two years.

In other-words how do we get out of Iraq without it looking bad politically.
That I think about sums up what the point of the commission was.
