Democrats should have practiced good behavior before now. They spent six years bashing Bush and Republicans and now they want to claim the high ground that nobody is supposed to question or attack? Sorry, it does not work that way.

It's going to be an interesting two years as the shoe is on the other foot.

What we need actually is more killing of the bad guys and we don't seem to be willing to do that.

The lack of will lies with the politicians, not with the military.

Our military has pleaded time and time again to be left alone to do their job....(which is to kill people and to break things, something they do very well...)

".....So I suspect the Junk Media is going to be painfully surprised to find out there idols the Democrats are going to ignore them on Iraq fully as much as GW Bush has."

From brief observation of Montana's DNC-worshiping media, you may have hit on something.

Any mention of the ISG that appears out here in the North American Outback has been shoved back so far from the front pages you need a telescope to find it, and the only articles that do involve Beltway politics are such an abject attempt to polish up our (now) two dim Senators' images as straight-shooters-totally-committed-to-representing-voters, it almost sounds like they're already into their re-election campaigns.

Somebody's WAY worried about how the ISG is going to reflect on the dims, IMHO.

Anybody want to get in a pool on the date and time that the DNC tells the media to finally bury this turkey and never, ever mention it again?

I'll take 9:00AM EST 12/13/2006.

LOL. I wonder how Baker et al are going to like becoming Un-persons so soon.

Chris wants to know what the Prez NEEDS to say to the nation. (I hate that "needs to say" question, btw.)

Tony SNow on Reliable Sources, being interviewed by Howie. Talking about the "interaction" between David and Tony and David's grotesque questioning.

I still think BOR is dedicated to playing both sides whenever he can.
Problem is that when he does bother to be fair and balanced and delineates the left side they always come out so stupid he invariably winds up siding with us, but he still seems determined to be "loved" by all. Silly boy!

He just may do that in the new press room under construction.

This is why Blue Ribbon Commission of DC Power brokers are such an idiot's way of addressing any serious issue. It seems the primary motivation for the Congress for this Commission was the way the Iraq war was polling. They seem to forget they are suppose to be leaders NOT poll watching whores.

Only in Washington DC would you form a Congressional Commission and include not a single retired military officer with Counter Insurgency experience or any Arab-Persian Political/Cultural Regional Expert on the panel

I was discussing this point with dad earlier in the week and he said possibly have the latter in the group but the whole point of the group was to look at it from a political point of view not a military one.

In other-words how do we get out of Iraq without it looking bad politically.

That I think about sums up what the point of the commission was.

Tony Snow is the Mohammed Ali of Press Secretaries.

Howie Kurtz is flailing and Tony is not breathing hard.
