NYT RICH: 'WE HAVE LOST IN IRAQ' (?)
Drudge ^ | 12092006

We're not "not winning."

We've lost.

So declares Bush critic Frank Rich in Sunday runs of the NEW YORK TIMES.

MORE

Taking it all the way, this time, Rich writes: "The actual reality is that we have lost in Iraq."

"The Iraq-Vietnam parallels at this juncture are striking," Rich explains, in an op-ed he has titled: "THE SUNSHINE BOYS CAN'T SAVE IRAQ."

Rich declares: "As bad as things may seem now, they can yet become worse, and not just in Iraq.

"The longer we pretend that we have not lost there, the more we risk losing other wars we still may salvage, starting with Afghanistan."

Since Frank Rich hasn't been correct about anything this century, I'm not going to panic.

OK... now that makes it official. It is all over because the New York Times and one of their hate filled lunatic left wing editors said so. (extreme sarcasm).

Rich is a lying sack of sh*t who works for a biased and incompetent newspaper. Vietnam had roughly 56,000 American dead. Iraq has 2,700 in four years. So, in another 40 years, at present rates, Iraq WILL be comparable to Vietnam.

But that isn't what this bigoted "reporter" and "newspaper" had in mind, is it?

Excuse me, I made a math mistake. It will be 80 years, not 40, before Iraq matches Vietnam. So, Rich and the Times are 40 years more stupid than I originally said.

How exactly does one go from being a judge of what is appealing in the make believe, pretend land of Broadway, to being an expert on foreign policy and geo-politics? Someone, please explain that to me. Jesus, what a pompous, ignorant windbag.

That's just what I was about to say! How does a guy go from writing entertainment reviews to being a geopolitical expert and seer?

A leftist literary analyst, and pinch's prime suckup, has no military experience, and hasn't visited the Green Zone, let alone, the combat zone, yet we're expected to genuflect at the alter of his collosal arrogance, ignorance, and stupidity.

Isn't Rich the frickin' drama critic?

No, he's the premier NYT frickin' drama queen, and that honor requires beating out a lot of other really tough NYT divas.

Sounds like it must be that time of the month for Frank Rich, which is funny because I thought he went through menopause many years ago.

Maybe a hot flash?

Would somebody please suggest that Frank `Richie' Rich take his sorry New Yorker a$$ to Iraq, outside the freakin green zone, live with our brave soldiery, and then make his loudmouth views known?

I know, too much to hope for.

Fascinating Analysis of Leftist Goals, August 13, 2006

Reviewer: N. Sincerity - See all my reviews

A former 1960s radical, Horowitz is well-acquainted with the Leftist mindset. In this book, he strives to explain the modern alliance between left wing progressivists and radical Islamofascists. He argues that this alliance is based on a common desire to destroy Western capitalism. Leftist sympathy with Islamofascist ideas makes no sense from an intellectual point of view, given that countries ruled by radical Islamists are among the most racist, sexist, theocratic states in the world today. However, Leftists have recognized that they can benefit politically from destructive terrorist attacks on the Western world. A West under attack can be made to turn on its leaders in fear and desperation (as they did in Spain after the Madrid train bombings). Only once people reject current government structures can the Left execute its anti-capitalist revolution and build a new reality that mirrors the Leftist view of utopia. The complete and utter idealogical hypocrisy of the Islamofascist-Leftist alliance is distressing, but as Horowitz reminds us, Leftists radicals truly believe the ends justify the means.

"The longer we pretend that we have not lost there, the more we risk losing other wars we still may salvage, starting with Afghanistan."

Frank Rich and others who think like him will do everything within their power to make certain that America never wins another war anywhere.

Mark Steyn also started out as a drama critic, but he retained his brain cells.

Rich knows our presence in Iraq ensures that Saudi, Syria and Iran will not take military action against Israel anytime soon.

With Rich wanting us out of Iraq, it necessarily follows that Rich likes to see lots of dead Jews.

Really strange fellow. Why do we tolerate him in this country.
