Freep Antiwar and Anti-America protest in Washington DC on Jan 27th
Posted on 12/06/2006 6:10:13 AM PST by Thunder90
With us losing the elections in November, the left wing of the Dimorat party thinks it can cut and run, and this protest will only reinforce those views. You can also count on the MSM to slant the coverage, hiding the more extreme signs that the lefties are sure to be carrying. We freepers must get out there and show the American people that there is another side.
From the UFPJ website: "Join United for Peace and Justice in a massive march on Washington, D.C., on Sat., January 27, to call on Congress to take immediate action to end the war.
On Mon., January 29, we'll take our message directly to individual members of the Congress during our Congressional Education Day."

Someone wanna tell 'em that Congress can't end the war no matter how many immediate steps they take and that they can ONLY cut the funding?

As usual, those most voacally protesting the government just happen to be those that know the least about how the government works.

Oh joy. Another "massive" protest. Just what we all need.
Earth to UPFJ: there is no "massive" mandate to cut and run.
Personally, I may agree with the idea of pulling back a bit to let the Iraqis "sort things out", as it were, but there is no "massive" anti-war vote in this country.
As usual, the Lefties will overreach and lose it all again.

no, the more the anti-war lie is reported and repeated, the more the average American believes it. Getting the message out to our representatives, and countering these protests, are essential.

Good point. Leftards also tend to be guilty of whatever they scream loudest about.
Coop, do you have a ping list?

May I suggest printing this article on two sides (then it fits on one page) and handing it out?
Munitions Found in Iraq Meet WMD Criteria, Official Says
Moonbat: (Pouting) But some expiration dates were expired!
FReeper: OK, but will you now say "'No WMD
that I like' were found instead of 'No WMD' were found?" Because otherwise everyone will know you're a liar.
Moonbat: Wahhhhhhh!
