I come here often and read and get much enjoyment and knowledge. I dont post very often so I may seem like a stranger. My wife was diagnosed last Tuesday with with a 2 inch tumor in her lung that is probably cancerous. We would sure appreciate any prayers that anyone would be inclined to send up. She says isnt afraid of dying but doesnt really want to leave our girls yet. She is only 49, way to young.
Well the thorassic surgeon said he still thinks it is unoperable, but they may know of some other surgical option at the James Cancer Center in Columbus,Ohio so we are going to ask for a 2nd opinion. On the better side, they said they think it will respond to chemo, radiation or a combo and at least shrink it for awhile. Still appreciating all the prayers.
I just want you to consider something: doctors are just like regular people. You can ask two knowledgeable people about a problem and you'll get two different answers. I personally like a doctor who is willing to throw everything at it and get results. Follow that up with a heaping load of prayer. I will continue to pray for you and help you through this with prayer.
God is love. - 1 John 4:8
Prayer bump. Each step along the way is sounding more hopeful for you and your wife. Prayers continue.
praying for your wife and your family. God Bless you all.
Prayers up for all of you, and especially your wife's healing.
Father, in the Name of Jesus I ask for healing miracles for this lady who has much to do yet in this life. Make your face to shine upon her and let your presence surround her. Thank you Lord, amen.
We have appointments with the James Cancer Center in Columbus,Ohio one next week, antoher the week after. We decided we wanted to go with the best in the area rather than mess with the locals. Thank you all for the prayers and please continue they can find a solution for her.
Amen.....let it be so.

Please, keep us posted. Prayers up!
God please show mercy for your wife and may He comfort you and your children.
well, the news isn't good. The cancer has spread to her other lung and surgery if definately not an option. Standard chemo and radiation is the only course, no clinical trials of any type for lung cancer currently offer any hope, they give Donna 15-18 months tops. We arent giving up, but it is harder to put one foot forward today.
I'll be praying for you and your family.
My condolences and prayers Dripp. Make the most of what you have and we'll all hope for a miracle.
We'll always keep your wife, you and your family in our prayers.
prayer bump.
thank you everyone. We are not giving up by any means, she started chemo this week, no sickness from it yet, just not much appetite so she is drinking supplements. One of the side effects seem to be bouts of pain in oddball places, we confirmed this by talking to other chemo patients. WE seem to be at the acceptance stage right now. We would like to wish you all Merry Christmas.
Prayers continue for your wife and you.
Merry Christmas to both of you.
