Anyone who tunes into late-night comedy shows knows that black comedians utter the n-word with rapid-fire frequency. Perhaps Michael Richards mistakenly thought that what was sauce for the goose was sauce for the white gander. In any case, in a Today show appearance this morning, Jesse Jackson declared that he would be working to "prohibit" the use of the word. He didn't offer specifics, but one question naturally arises. Would Jackson's n-word ban begin where the word is most frequently in use - the black community itself?
Interviewed by weekend host Lester Holt [one of my MSM favorites for his level-headedness, I might add] on the Michael Richards mess, Jackson floated his proposal in these terms:
"I might add that we're really going to begin to fight to prohibit that word in public usage as hate language."
See video here.
The word is vile. But just wondering on which version of the First Amendment Jackson relies in his quest to ban offensive language? And will he indeed take his fight to Def Comedy Jam?

Does this also mean we will not have to hear our President called a "drunk" anymore? I find that to be highly insensitive to all brave alcoholics who are recovering and I mean that.
How in the world do you outlaw speech?
Jesse is no longer connected to the real world.
Jesse Jackass is only in it for the money, no matter what the subject is.
you nailed it.
I agree with Jackson. Let's substitute the word 'boy' for the N-word, and start with Jesse, every time somebody sees him, 'Hey BOY? How ya doin' wid dat N-word ban? Get it banned yet boy? Good luck now, tell the family I said hello, ya got that boy? Bye now!'
What I love ( /sarcasm) is the way some black people think it's cute to call obviously over-18 white men and women 'boys' and 'girls'....or the way the same ones throw around the phrase 'white trash' with obvious relish.
Pretty soon it will be Burka's and kneeling to Mecca.
Jackson finds a new money scam...
Don't to forget to cut out Chappell's tongue!!!!!!!!!LOL
ROFL!
Great tagline, by the way!
Why is no one stopping this man from making a fool of himself. He's not a leader in any sense of the word but just a big whining victim-creating, mediocre encouraging, ignorant fool. He's an embarrassment to the whole Black race.
Yes......... I heard that garble.
However, Jesse does have a slight speech impediment, but maybe that was caused by him losing all that spittle as a youth that he needed to adorn the white customers' plates of food back when he was working in the kitchen in the restaurant!
What will Jesse say when one is called, "You stupid N-word?"
So if I understand the article correctly; Jesse will be fighting for the niggardly use of the n-word. Is that correct?
Well, if they ban the n-word, let's also ban "cracker," "honkey" (also spelled "honkie"), and all the ugly words black "comedians" use to describe whites. No, I'm not asking for a race war here, just fairness.
Call it "Jesse's Law".
Probably not, for the following reasons:
People aren't offended by it, except some white people. Affirmative action, don't you know. We need a level playing field; we should have minimum restrictions on liberty, and only for the greater good, blah, blah, blah. (Leftist version)
When socialists have a plan to take away your freedoms, they do it gradually. One word at a time. (The truth)
Don't forget "niggardly"!
