The head of Irans Revolutionary Guard Corps, Major-General Yahya Rahim Safavi released a statement over the weekend that Tehran is capable of striking its enemies 2,000 kilometers away, IsraelNN.com reported.
According to a report released by Irans official news agency, Safavi stated, If attacked, we will respond by striking the army of our enemies, stating that Iranian forces remain ready for any type of attack by the country''''s enemies. "
Iran...Go ahead, make my day!
You wish I-Ran
Hey, Iran. Ummm, WE can DESTROY our enemy from a planet away.
Is it 1200 km or 2000 km? Either way, it's not 1200 miles.
2 000 kilometer = 1 242.742 384 475 mile
is that better
"If attacked, we will respond by striking the army of our enemies," ......... Uh uh, take your best shot, it will probably be your one and only one chance you will have.
And, Iran should realize, but I don't think they do, that they are now surrounded on all sides by battle hardened US forces....
Range of the Trident missle is 8,000 nautical miles. Nuff said.
The UN will be condemning Iran for this statement any minute now. Just wait for it . . . . any minute now.
Bueller?
Which enemy do they have in mind? Who is 1200 km away from Iran?
Make 'em glow in the dark, we want our astronauts to be able to part their hair using the Iranian desert as a mirror.
So, when they have nukes, are they going to try to hit Israel, or just drive a few into Iraq? Since they want to kill as many enemies as possible without regard to "martyring" their own people (Shiites), which would be of greatest value to them? Although Israel is, to Iran, a target rich environment, so is Iraq, with the large number of US troops. I imagine it would be easier to get nukes into Iraq than Israel.
Good way to get America into Iran.
And, no flying-column details this time. This time, we bring the piano player, the band, and the dishwashers. We bring everything, and we leave nothing standing.
Pity, the Iranians are civilized people despite the feral atavism of their mullahs and government.
The enemy is capable of striking Tehran 2,001 kilometers away
You noticed that too, eh? And it doesn't seem to be just a 'coincedence', either..........FRegards
