According to Koppel, Imanutjob is just "tweaking" the US and there is no way we can stop them from getting the bomb. It's Bush's fault because he won't do diplomacy with Iran. The military operation is, per Koppel and Wright, is not an option. These are the decisions of the MSM, folks. They have spoken.
Big WH press corps going with the President to these countries is a big waste. NOBODY on any media is reporting the true news, instead all of them just read the pre-prepared pool reporter's ant-Bush spin.
The other day Bret Braier was reporting from Singapore - he read 2 lines of the President & 20 lines from liberal washington thinker.
Shame, who is interested whether Clinton visited Vietnam first or not when President Bush is there, except these media hacks.
Leaving aside his ineptitude and wrong-headed policies on just about everything, his delusional egomania alone is reason to keep him miles away from the Oval Office. Fortunately, this dork has no clue that he's a joke even in his own party, and will continue to hit the airwaves. Yes, Carry, BE the face of your party for the next two years.
I calls em as I sees em!!!!!!!!
Few books have been so correct in their title. Kerry is a disgrace to our country.
BINGO .. which is why the Dem were hiding from being called that
Oh, the MSM has also decided that a withdrawal from Iraq in the next 4 to 6 months is not viable. Apparently, they do not want to be blown up here at home either. I knew that self-interest would appear after the election.
Good for you. Persistance and truth will out. My little headwear company met the same obstacles in the early years, because we weren't one of the big names. Now all the nay-sayers are my best customers. Nothing sweeter. Nothing.
If true, the MSM will have to come to grips with stated Democrat policy and positions. The only good thing I can see from the Democrats win is exposing them to the rest of the country. It's just too bad it has to come at such a cost and that Republicans have been too inept to expose them before now.
IIRC, Paul Newman poured money into The Nation.
Second, Webb was an inspired choice for the Dems. He is a USNA grad, former NavSec under Reagan, a legitimate war hero as a winner of a Navy Cross, and has a son in the Marines in Iraq. He also has deep family roots in Va. As a result, Webb did very well in the heavily Navy areas of Norfolk and Virginia Beach, normally Rep strongholds that counterbalance Northern VA.
Finally, Allen made a couple of missteps that were pounced on relentlessly by the WP, which attacked Allen for months leading up to election day. I have never witnessed such a concerted attack by a supposedly objective and national newspaper like the WP. Allen was savaged and nothing negative appeared about Webb.
As a sidebar, I found it interesting that the WP endorsed Harrison Miller, Webb's opponent in the Dem primary. I recognized Webb's threat to Allen and voted for Miller in the open primary, but Webb won and the rest is history.
Heh.
So I go home and tell my story to my husband. Who is a conservative of the highest order and worse even then me.
"And I actually VOTED for Castle," I told husband. "Didn't you?"
Well go on. I just ASSUMED he voted for Castle but to my everlasting surprise husband replied "No. I voted for Spivek." Spivak was the Dem opponent to Castle and he didn't have a chance in hell of winning.
Husband and I BOTH voted for the write-in candidate who was running for Senator of all things, one Christine O'Donnell who really threw the GOP here in Delaware on its ear. She got 11000 votes, quite a bit for a write-in, 7,000 of those votes came from Sussex county.
I told my husband that I was proud of him, that at least he wasn't a hypocrite like me.
Folks, NEXT time I will NOT vote for Mike Castle and I'm ashamed that I did this past race. I feel like I've betrayed my progeny by voting for a man who would keep them enslaved to Arab oil rather than doing what America does, finding our own way.
Now don't tell me any Republican is better than any Democrat. I'll never believe that again so long as I live. After this past week's experience I'll not trust a politico of ANY party unless he/she votes on legislative matters that I agree with. Hey, I might vote for NOBODY and argue that my husband only voted for Spivak because he knew Spivak wouldn't win. Husband knew that. But my husband knew what Castle did and by golly at least he had more gumption than me, vaunted Sussex county GOP member of the SCRWC who marched lock step with the traitorous Delaware GOP.
And now, well if the SCRWC has any influence, maybe we can a Delaware GOP candidate who represents US....what a concept, huh?
Great job.
Thanks as always for the thread

Email that I sent to Brit yesterday -

Hello Brit,
This is why John McCain has zero chance of becoming President of our country.
Latest FReeper poll from conservative news forum Free Republic -
http://www.freerepublic.com/perl/poll?poll=165
Even if McCain somehow sneaks through the primaries to win the GOP nomination a significant number of the REAL conservative base of the Republican party will not support him.
I am one of those conservatives who will never vote for McCain. And it does NOT matter who he might be matched up against in a potential 2008 Presidential campaign.
The potential candidates for 2008 that I can't not stand the most, ranking the worst at the top.
1.) John McCain
2.) John McCain
3.) John McCain
4.) john kerry
5.) hillary clinton
Later,
Tony in Boulder
