I wanted to share a link to our web site for a new action Western feature motion picture nearing completion. This is an "indie" movie being made by folks who are just in love with Western movies and wanted to make one ourselves.
It is based upon a true story.
It is being shot in state-of-the-art high definition digital video.
This movie has been shot completely within the United States over this summer and fall, in Idaho, Texas, Tennessee, Alabama, Kentucky and South Dakota.
You can watch a two-minute trailer of scenes from the movie at our site.

Well, well. A movie about the Hayfield Fight near Ft. C. F. Smith. I'm looking forward to seeing this one. Looks like my kind of movie. I'm curious why you picked this particular engagement over the Wagon Box fight a day later, or the Fetterman Fight of December, 1867? They were all engagements in 'Red Cloud's War'. You can't do these without us ol' history buffs wanting to know background.

Hey bcsco,
NoControllingLegalAuthority needs to keep sequel options open once the studios snap up distribution rights!

The song in the trailor is a real bring down. It doesn't attract me to the movie at all. Get a song that has some real spunk to it and one that might make a single on the CW stations. A good snappy instrumental would work just as well as a song with words, maybe better.

I will definitely put this film on my must-see list.
Few people hear about Hayfield Fight because historians concentrate on Custer's Last Stand at Little Bighorn that happened nearby nine years later.
I suppose liberal historians, beset with white guilt, would like to ignore Hayfield Fight because of the bravery and tenacity shown by the small group of white settlers and soldiers and the decidedly happier ending.

...keep sequel options open once the studios snap up distribution rights!Boy, you're out of my league with that. Anyway, it'd be nice if one of those other fights turned up in a sequel. That whole story of Red Cloud's War hasn't been told much on film. It would make for good Western cinema.

There are not enough well done westerns made these days. This movie looks really good and better a freeper was involved.

Wow....
As a writer, and as an avid reader of Westerns, and a fan of the whole Western motion picture genre, CONGRATULATIONS! It looks spectacular, and I can't wait to see it. Is there a firm release date and/or distributor yet? Love to know more!
