Let me see if I get this last propaganda spin lie fed to the Junk Media by the Democrats right. After the worst sort of slime bag gutter politics and demagoguery for the last 6 years suddenly we are all suppose to play nice since the Dems finally managed to lie their way back into power?
I do not think so.
They think they run things but believe or not, President Bush has a veto pen and we still have more then 40 Conservative Senators to filibuster with.
They need to get along with us. WE can stop anything they want. Let us see if Democrats are stupid enough to forget that fact
We lost a battle, the war goes on.

Chuckie wants to force drug companies to make prices lower. All they have to do is cut their advertising budgets. They must be astronomical and IMO largely unnecessary. But hey that's the market for ya.

I posted this yesterday and it has brought me peace and a fighting spirit to combat the RATS... till I die! Please, let's stop the whining and start concentrating our emotions and anger towards recapturing both houses again!! I have total faith in my God and know that this is NOT the end!! BUCK UP and FIGHT!! W is gonna need us more than ever come the New Year! We know what awaits W in the wings..he is gonna be savaged by the RATS...Pray for him and our troops!
This morning I woke up like probably alot of folk did, completely devastated at the events that just happened. So instead of turning on the tube, I started my morning seeking answers from God. I was totally disappointed and knew that Rush or whoever was NOT going to be able to give me a full explanation as to why we lost. I was searching for that precise word, instead of looking for mens reasons I took to the knee and started asking the Lord, WHY? So much was at stake here, why did we fail? And in that small voice He told me very simply...."I AM DOING A WORK!" For those who believe the word of God this spoke volumes and comforted me in KNOWING deep in my heart that God is STILL in control of all this mess. Yes, I agree with your hubby, 08 is another election and yes there is a tomorrow as well. Please continue your prayer for W and our beloved brave soldiers! We don't know what tomorrow holds, but know this....GOD IS STILL ON THE THRONE!

was disappointed in Rush yesterday as well as many Freepers, that they didn't do that.I'm going to give everyone a pass on yesterday. It was difficult to absorb the loss of so many good people from the political scene. But now we must go forward and fix the problems.

Get a clue and grow up. Rush doesn't need to apologize for telling the truth.

I missed most of it, and it was short-- but basically Rumsfeld will stay until Gates is confirmed. I didn't hear anything else.

I've made an oath to myself: I will NOT be listening/watching MSM and FNC for the next few months. Seeing the gloating faces of libs is just not conducive to my inner peace. (Not to mention it might cause me to "go postal!":) Instead I will prepare for Christmas and work on some crafts that have been stalled by the elections.
Rush and FR will be my only connections to politics. The rest of them can all go to hell!

Satires and fake news aside, I don't believe Rummy was "fired." I believe he was calling the shots himself and that the president didn't want him gone.

My Fellow Freepers:
I have been thinking a lot about the things that I'd like to see a newly configured GOP say in a new Conservative Statement of Beliefs.
These are some of the things that I consider less obvious, but necessary.
Please, these are only my opinions of what I would like someone in the GOP to have the fortitude to say.
I welcome your comments.
- The "New Tone in Washington" has been a failure. It was a failure from the moment soon after 9/11 when Nancy Pelosi said that the Democrat party stands "Shoulder to Shoulder with the President". We were then all treated to one State of The Union address after another where the Democrats sat on their hands like spoiled children. The Democrats are yet another group that refuse to be honest brokers and only see weakness in diplomacy. They have proven that, even in time of war, even with a lack of working ideas, the only important thing is that they retain power. They have shown that they are only interested in negotiating from a position of authority and will undermine all honest attempts at diplomacy until their primary goal of authority is reachieved. As such I believe that the GOP should drop the "New Tone" and only consider negotiating when it is in line with a truly conservative platform, until then, filibuster.
- The Democrat party has for sometime been trying to disguise who they really are and what they really believe. But through their actions, voting records, and smear campaigns they show their hand pretty plainly. The GOP, in a spirit of bipartisanship, has either chosen through politeness or ignorance to play along with this disguise. I personally believe that in order to move forward effectively we can no longer afford to define things in fuzzy terms. The Democrat party of Scoop Jackson and Zell Miller has not been taken over by "hard leftists pretending to be moderates", it has been taken over by Marxists of a Stalinist bent. This has been openly recognized by some honest and brave talk show hosts like Mark Levin. I believe that the GOP should refer to the Democrat party as such from now on.
- The "Main Stream Media" has devolved into nothing more than the agit-prop division of the Democrat party. Conservative views in the "Main Stream Media" are consistently and deliberately ignored, impugned, mischaracterized, forged, and misquoted. It has become obvious that their "stories" are already written and that any input on the part of Conservatives is only requested to bolster their agit-prop. They consistently leak vital secrets and air enemy propaganda in a time of war for the for the dual purposes of "sticking it to Bush" and ensuring Democrat victories at the ballot. As such I believe that the GOP and Conservatives should no longer recognize the "Main Stream Media" as actual viable media outlets and no longer make themselves available for contact, comment, or interview.
- The Democrat Party ran on the implied platform of impeaching George W. Bush for numerous constitutional violations and war crimes. They have breached the subject, when advantageous, on more than one occasion. It is rumored that they have the Articles of Impeachment already drawn up. They used the themes of constitutional violations and war crimes consistently to throw red meat at their base in this election cycle, in fact, the only plank in their platform was "Get George W. Bush". Now that they have control of both Houses they have stated that, despite their implied campaign promise, "Impeachment is off the table". This is supposedly a show of cooperation in the spirit of the "New Tone in Washington", when it is really to avoid plainly showing those not paying attention what their party has truly become. I believe that the GOP should call attention to what the Democrats ran on and demand that the Democrat party be true to that promise and start immediate impeachment procedures against George W. Bush.
- The Democrat Party ran on the implied platform of charging George W. Bush and members of his cabinet for war crimes. As with impeachment, I believe that the GOP should demand that the Democrat party be true to its implied promise and start immediate war crime procedures against George W. Bush and his cabinet.
- Universities in the United States have devolved into left wing indoctrination centers. Stories of professional bias against conservative students are commonplace. There is no room for personal politics in education: calculus, language, medicine subscribe to no inherent ideology. Forcing paying university students to conform to a single ideology or fail is beyond unfair, in an environment that used to advocate debate no less. I believe that the GOP should chair an investigation on University bias with the intent to form criteria by which Universities found in violation will lose all federal funding including eligibility in the federal student loan program.
I welcome your comments,
Thank you
