This morning I woke up like probably alot of folk did, completely devastated at the events that just happened. So instead of turning on the tube, I started my morning seeking answers from God. I was totally disappointed and knew that Rush or whoever was NOT going to be able to give me a full explanation as to why we lost. I was searching for that precise word, instead of looking for mens reasons I took to the knee and started asking the Lord, WHY? So much was at stake here, why did we fail? And in that small voice He told me very simply...."I AM DOING A WORK!" For those who believe the word of God this spoke volumes and comforted me in KNOWING deep in my heart that God is STILL in control of all this mess. Yes, I agree with your hubby, 08 is another election and yes there is a tomorrow as well. Please continue your prayer for W and our beloved brave soldiers! We don't know what tomorrow holds, but know this....GOD IS STILL ON THE THRONE!
Thanks Rose! I was devestated too and it occurred to me yesterday that even in the chos He is in control...especially in the chaos.
I am still ticked at the pathetic 20% turnout. Bush is probably fed up with his own party. I know I am.
We SHOULD have won this thing. Can't win anything with a lousy 20%!
