You've just painted the most terrifying and potentially realistic outcome of yesterday. God bless and protect us all.
Nothing shameful huh? He just said that he is going to screw conservatives and sell out to the liberal demands. He stabs Rumsfeld when he is the one that should be looking in the mirror for answers and his RINO and elitist ways.
BUT WE LOST!... an now we can let it all out.
For some reason I feel I should wait a few days... just to let the president, everyone two or three days to digest the huge change that just took place.... BUT I DO HAVE ISSUES WITH THE PRESIDENT!... and I know he is going to make me sick again with the Immigration thing. It makes me nervous when I hear he thinks he has a much better chance of passing his "Immigration reform" with the Rats... It makes me wonder if he is really (or has ever been) a conservative or actually a very... what? liberal president?... [sight] I better stop here now :)
Rush is afraid the president and our Reps will begin to carry the water for the left in order "to be loved."
THAT MAKES SENSE TO ME!... Wait to see how happy McaCaIn and Hegel and all the other lefis will be even more loud on the side of the Rats...
Well, I am listeining to Rush, he is H = 2H (2 hours)
I think you are right. But I fear the opposite track will be taken. Many already, on this site, are calling for the GOP to move "centrist", and abandon the social conservative. Which, since they have already done that to the fiscal ones, makes you wonder what is left to stand on.
Damn right! Remind us to ask the "spankers" how they're feeling in about 6 months. Losers!
you said such a law would be unconstitutional - the SCOTUS would have to be the body to decide that.
The ironic thing about that is that some polls showed that the Republican party is now seen as the party of Big Government, not the Democrats. Boy, are these idiots ever in for a surprise!
Actually, that wasn't Rush's fault. Unlike the media personalities who "reported" on what Rush supposedly said, I actually LISTENED to him, and I can tell you for a FACT that they consistently mischaracterized him, accusing him of "mocking" Michael J. Fox. HE NEVER MOCKED FOX -- not once! They did that for about 1-1/2 weeks. What Rush actually did was to shine a light on what Fox was actually saying, and what that 2nd amendment in Missouri actually said. The polls showed that people were actually starting to understand it. If there had been a couple more days before the vote, who knows what would have happened?
Yep, they're missing the point. They will move this party to the left and it will cease to exist.
It was heartening to me to hear that Rush is worried about the same thing.
The constitution decides what is constitutional, and the current Supremes should be impeached for not following it (yes, they can be constitutionally tossed!). I remember talking about campaign finance being unconstitutional, but really, maybe I have a brain cloud. Because I agree with you.
I'm sick of allowing liberal fascists judges at any level, to rewrite the Constitution to fit their agenda, and now they are even including foreign laws.
Time to take our country back from Activists Judges and Liberals.
What you may not know is that the media SPEEDED UP the video of Rush to exaggerate his actions, and to make it look like Rush was "mocking" Fox, when he wasn't. They accompanied that clip with sound bites taken totally out of context. Rush is very animated when he talks. He wasn't mocking Fox, he was just in the middle of describing what he saw when he watched the ad for the first time, and he was saying that he had never seen Fox that way before, and he didn't know what to make of it. Of course, the media sliced out the comments they wanted and ran with it. His enemies are also 24x7 members, y'know.
Thanks.
Will check it our.
"Hillary won 2008 last night."
The Dem nomination perhaps, but not the presidency.
So, did Rush clarify this?
No need to apologize. We are all on edge today. Misunderstandings happen. Trust me. I'm the best at that, at times. Ask my family. ;-)
oh c'mon, they already tossed the takings clauses in the Kelo eminent domain case - were any of them impeached?
the only way to change the court, is to elect republicans to the senate and the white house who will do so.
"I still think Bush is one of the best presidents, ever, but boy has he had a lot working against him. Can't we stand with him in his darkest hour?"
hallelujah!
Frankly, Bush is probably wondering if he'll get more support from the damn rats than he gets from his own party!
