I'm sure I'll get called a troll for this, but this presser, and Rumsfeld's resignation are the blood on the stone; this presser is what Bush needs to do if he's going to achieve any further success in Iraq. I feel the man's pain - he's thinking about our troops in the Iraq theatre and the WOT and doing what he has to do as a politician to ensure we get as far along in those matters are possible while he's still President. It's sad but necessary.
I think, in retrospect obviously, he SHOULD have let Rumsfeld go before the election. Perhaps it would have been the "sacrifice" the moderates needed to vote our way.
Savage should take alot of the blame for this...
WTH was that woman reporter? What a rude and disrespectful manner she used to put it ALL on the president's shoulders to "change the tone"....
She needs a smack..
Yep...and Chloe to monitor her calls...
Honestly I am bitter, but All I can do is pray and hope for the best for this country.
Maybe Rush is showing why the conservitives must not give up by showing this silly press conference.
1. Clintoon repeated and savagely cut our funding.
2. Clintoon declared that we had to purge all assets (sources of information) that had any human rights baggage. We lost most of our intelligence gathering ability in one day. To think that only nice and moral people are going to commit treason and espionage is naive beyond belief.
3. You, the American people, elected Senators and Congresspeople that were liberal. They in turn have pulled the teeth from the Agency and have created a culture there where no one dares take any risks.
Here is my prediction. All my friends who still work at the Agency tell me it is only a matter of time before there is a devastating attack on one or more major US cities. We're talking casualties probably in the millions. I agree with them. When that happens were are all going to pull together and liberals will be marginalized - or we will have a military coup with civil war to one extent or another.
If several cities are hit simultaneously, there will be no government help, there will be not nearly enough hospital beds, communications will break down, there will be massive refugee movements. People will die in the streets from their wounds, dehydration and disease. I'm not trying to sound like some kind of "right wing wacko" but by God people we had better wake up.
So right!
Remember all the tears in the photos of kerry supporters in 04? How their depression was portrayed as a clinical illness? Well they are still here! Point being, we will be too!
Except WE don't cry.
what? if not for the impeachment of clinton, Gore would have won easily in 2000.
He is a smarmy beast!
The thumping he took yestersday? ASS****.
They all need a good flogging. Smug little jerks.
What a WITCH!
are you kidding me?
here we go... there is a gridlock because the Republicans are stubborn?
geez.....................boy the media gets it.....they know exactly how to help the Dems......keep pressuring hte Republicans to keep moving left.. blame them for the split and disharmony.......wonderful......then the Replicans give them relevence....keep moving left....and lose elections.....
That would be good.
Who is Bob Bullock?
So you're saying that he should have been given a pass for lying to a Federal Judge?
We're supposed to hold our elected officials...especially the President to a higher stand than a common criminal.
...promises, promises.
This is the worst press conference that I've ever heard. "W" sounds totally shell shocked.
