Forgot to add......you're right about MT. Burns has closed the gap by 3k votes, which is a lot for a small population like MT, but that also means the 14k he has to go is also a tough road ahead.

However, those congressmen who were elected from Conservative districts are not going to walk the plank like they did for Clinton in 92.
This loss should also shake up our leadership so that it is more aggressive and combative.
We had too many 'old guard' guys still in leadership positions.
Frankly, I cannot wait to see Nick Lampson (CD22) get beaten in 2008.

Ohio is not as messed up as it appears.
Only one of the Ohio House races that dems hoped to pick up were they succesful on. Some races that were picked to go Dem actually went Republican tonight.
Dewine is Repubilcan establishment and disloyal to the president and our troops.
Blackwell was stabbed in the back by the Republican establishment. Hopefully, that establishment can be replaced with true conservatives.
Even dem sites in Ohio are disappointed that they did not do better. the Ohio Supreme Court is all Republican.
