well, I caved, held my nose, and voted. But a lot of conservatives didn't. They stayed home, and a lot of RINOs and semi-RINOs went down in defeat. I can only hope we field some real conservative Republicans in '08.
I had a long discussion with Phil Crane back in the 80's in a bar in Denver, CO. We discussed IRAs for non-working spouses and Social Security. My congresscritter Hobson told me once he wasn't surprised that I ran into Phil in a bar.

I was bummed out for a short time....then I remember that I had to put up with Clinton for 8 years and made a bunch of money, had 4 kids and generally made a good life for myself without depending on the government and generally avoiding any debt.....
My advice, wake up brothers, stiffen the spine, fight the good fight.... and generally be of good cheer....
