Republicans running from conservatives lost them some seats, and Democrats pretending to be conservatives gained them some seats.At the height of the Mexican protests, when polls showed something like 70% of Americans wanted tougher immigration laws, and Republicans weenied out, I swore I would not vote this year.
well, I caved, held my nose, and voted. But a lot of conservatives didn't. They stayed home, and a lot of RINOs and semi-RINOs went down in defeat. I can only hope we field some real conservative Republicans in '08.
