15 seat pick-up for Dems is not a slaughter. Actually it's
better than expected not good but minimal damage captain.

We don't need any more left-leaning networks in this country.

Is there any other kind?

"I just read on another thread that Jimmy Carter's son lost. LOL"

For THAT I'm buying everyone here the next round of drinks.... there are some bright spots in this evening after all. If ever there was an airheaded lib coasting on his father's so-called "reputation" it was Chip, er Chump, umm Chunks..... oh whatever his name is.

Say what you want but he had his chances to do what was right for this country. Instead he torpedoed Toomey and supported a RINO.

I have not seen one positive commercial from any of our PA candidates (Swann being the exception) over the past few months. Santorum couldn't run on his record and Weldon had the whole FBI thing two weeks before the election. I think people were just fed up with both of them.

You know that the Dems will vote for anyone with a DEM after their name but hard working, honest people demand more from our Reps. If they aren't in Washington DOING something, why should we send them back year after year.

I said it earlier, I voted for Santorum and Weldon today but it was only because there were no other options.

The district is seven percent more Republican than Dem. We just elected an ACLU member to Congress along the border. The conservatives did their part for Graf. Guess who didn't.

Kyl will beat Pederson. I hope J.D. holds on. He's a great one.

No. The GOP House was strong on illegal immigration. The GOP House is being defeated tonight.

Geesh, why won't this sink in? The base was depressed so it affected EVERYONE in the GOP ranks. The House was harder hit because EVERYONE is up for re-election.

Golly, that makes perfect sense....

...in your mind.

It doesn't sink.

I tried to convince a fellow Republican that when pubbies veer left in an attempt to pick up votes, they lose their base. I didn't want to be able to say "told ya so". Sadly, i now have the proof...

CNN projects Democrats have picked up 15 House seats, giving them control of the House.

One hopeful result of this is that Tom Reynolds from NY-26 will be relegated to being a backbencher. His handling of the Foley matter was unacceptable and he was one of the key folks in the House responsible for Republicans maintaining control of the House. I heard one of the ads the Reynolds was running and it in essence said "Reynolds brings home the bacon, Jack Davis will not".
