Please Mods can we have one central Live thread ...its tough jumping from thread to thread to get results.
And I've seen them pull projections back before. Ellen Sauerbrey (R) was declared the winner by AP here in Maryland in 1994, only to have Glendending (D) win before the night was over. It was of course widely suspected to be due to voter fraud.
Well, I stopped actively watching FNC a long while ago. Don't have the time.
And now House is over, which means it's History Channel for me.
Florida wasn't the weak spot for Republicans. Obviously Ohio and Pennsylvania were.
I really wish George had done better. I thought he could be the man in '08. I guess it took a pretend conservative like Webb to get this close. The Dems won't learn - this is actually DNC strategy that put Clinton in office, their primaries are geared for leftists.
And you just sound like a loser. Thanks...
Collins and Burns can thank W and Sonny for those seats if they get them.
Sonny ran a really good campaign and winning without a runoff with the flag idiot commercials in the last two weeks is big.
Yeah but brown accepted. Wow, I always thought the supposed winner waited to accept until the loser conceded or at least called him to concede. And the Ohio GOP HQ is claiming it is not over. So we shall see.
Don't try to blame this on me or anybody else here.
Please God, please please please....

Hello even higher taxes. I feel sick. And here I was, naive that Murlinders were capable of coming to their senses!!!! Seeing Mikulski and Cardin together as our Senators, with faggy O'Malley in tow, is too much to bear. At least Cardin and Babs make a semi-cute couple, in a completely revolting kind of way.
Yeah baby. Love that Corker.
"I can't imagine that this many Americans voted to surrender the war on terror."
Ditto. Frankly, that's what I REALLY can't comprehend - how half the country (or maybe more) willingly votes on the side of a political party which clearly, inarguably SIDES WITH THE PEOPLE WHO WANT TO DESTROY US. Either that ~50% is hopelessly insane, or hopelessly stupid.
Personally? I'm refusing to allow myself - once again, to be completely disheartened by the MSM (and, for that matter, Fox). Been there - done that. I'll tune in tomorrow, or whenever it's all over, or read it here. No sense letting the media bash me into depression, particularly since I don't trust the factual sources for their bashing.
no no no no... I still have the Bush/Gore night fresh in my mind... No calling a victor till I see 100.0% in!
"Hang in folks.... don't worry, all will be well in the end... you'll see."
Absolutely right. After all, we don't want to behave like a bunch of DUmmies. No matter what happens, life goes on. We need to play the hand we've been dealt and work harder for next time.
I hate to say this, but Bush made his bed, now he can lie in it. After a hard fought and won 2004 election, Bush stood at a podium and announced that "I have won political capital and tend to spend it." Well, he chose to spend it on Social Security reform. Not that Soc. Sec. reform isn't a worthy target, but WE WERE AT WAR. The entire dem campaign was anti-Iraq. So, while Bush worried about reforming Soc. Sec. the dems continued a relentless,non-ceasing attack on the Iraq War. They went unanswered for almost an entire year and by the time the White House woke up, it was too late.
Political capital, yep, Mr. Bush, you spent it allright.
YES!!!! I can cheer vicariously. Michigan is getting flushed down the toilet.
