There has been talk of disgruntled conservatives sitting out the election or even voting Democrat. The motivation seems to be to punish the Republicans for shortcomings in being as conservative as some hope for.
I am curious if any Freepers are falling into this trap and some justification of it.
I have posted in the past that "I am sick and tired of the limp noodle Republicans who have no idea how to exercise power and I am done with them." Yes, I have said that.
But, today is reality. I am not necessarily voting FOR Republicans. I am definitely voting AGAINST Democrats.
For the children
I'm not voting...for Democrats!
VOTE REPUBLICAN!!!
[voted absentee a week ago]
Everyone - get out and vote or we'll get more of this:
In our brave new schools, Johnny can't say the pledge, but he can recite the Quran. Yup, the same court that found the phrase "under God" unconstitutional now endorses Islamic catechism in public school.
A Clinton appointed judge ruled in California's 9th Circuit Court that it's okay for kids to be forced to recite aloud Muslim prayers that begin with "In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful . . . ."
Memorizing the Muslim profession of faith: "Allah is the only true God and Muhammad is his messenger."
Chanting "Praise be to Allah" in response to teacher prompts.
Professing as "true" the Muslim belief that "The Holy Quran is God's word."
Giving up candy and TV to demonstrate Ramadan, the Muslim holy month of fasting.
Designing prayer rugs, taking an Arabic name and essentially "becoming a Muslim" for two full weeks.
Parents of seventh-graders, who after 9-11 were taught the pro-Islamic lessons as part of California's world history curriculum, sued under the First Amendment ban on religious establishment. They argued, reasonably, that the government was promoting Islam.
But a federal judge appointed by President Clinton told them in so many words to get over it, that the state was merely teaching kids about another "culture."

I won't be voting today.
I early voted several weeks ago.
Ditto.
Gotta do what we can to counter the librat's ACORN.
I am not going to vote again today. I would if they would let me.
I am voting.
be there or be square.
I am not a fan of early voting - I guess some are. I like the idea of the whole country on one day at the polls.
I'm not voting today. I voted the first day of early voting. I'm spending today getting other people to vote.
And my sense is that we are more motivated than they are.
Not today, I voted early, last week to avoid the long lines.
Went in and was the only person there when things opened up.
Also then I didn't have to listen to folks bitch.
I'm only voting in spirit (I'm not American). Good luck from this side of the Atlantic!
If anyone reading this fits into this category, know this: You are beneath contempt. You willingly put the nation at risk for your little ego and pity party.
Stop your sobbing and pontificating and get off your butt and vote against Pelosi and her minions.
I wish I could vote today.
Please do it for me.
GET OUT & VOTE!!!!
