Wife and I were about #30 and #31 in our precinct. The lines were long, but moved pretty quickly, as they had almost 15 booths set up.
We got in line at about 0750, polls opened at 0800 and we were both done by 0820.
The atmosphere was friendly and calm. We live in a rural/suburban area, so no rabid moonbats were readily apparent.
There were no campaigners or exit pollers around, either.

Voted in Gaithersburg, Maryland this morning about 9AM...nobody in line. very quick.
They checked driver's license for ID, you sign a computer generated slip, get a plastic card which activates your ballot.
Used the touch screen to vote straight GOP, and was out of there in 10 minutes.
God Bless America!

Keeping my fingers crossed for the GOP.

I voted at 7:00 am here in Phoenix and there were already 6 people in there ahead of me! I'm pulling for a friend, Len Munsil to beat ALL the polls and give us a conservative Governor and kick out the gay liberal!

"Neighbor fixed breakfast for poll workers/judges and early voters in neighborhood. Mostly Dems, as is my neighbor..." Did you have a food taster?

It may be a bit premature, but I hope we see Carville on the tube again tonight:

Receieved email from GOP telling me to use their search for the correct polling location and it turns out their info is wrong.
Already knew my location which is why I was so disturbed by GOPs faulty info.
Saw this logo on my voting machine
I felt comfortable in my vote not being switched like the DUers will be. ;)

You confirm my post - I voted up the road in G-town. After the initial flurry (it was lighter than usual) and fewer 'people of color' voting, it seemed to really drop off when I was leaving around 8 am...
PS - These are fairly heavy Democratic disticts O'Malley is counting on to beat Ehrlich. I don't think O'Malley is getting the Rat vote he needs.

The only person outside Strawberry Knoll ES in Gaitherburg was an African American women passing out Cardin material, which I pleasantly declined.
I said, "Good Luck with your candidate" when I got into my car...but I had my fingers crossed. ;^)

Just returned from voting. Straight Republican ticket. Santorum, Swann, Hart, Turzai, Orie. Not overly busy. One person in line before me. A little old lady who wanted to talk about everything under the sun with each and every poll worker. 5 more came in after I was in and I passed 5 more on their way in when I left.
North suburban precinct of Allegheny County. By the way, every where I drive around here has mostly Republican candidates signs. Hardly see any Democrats. Guess the Dems live in Pittsburgh.

I just voted, in strong Republican district in southwest Ohio. It was packed! I had to wait 30 minutes to vote, and there is a steady rain today, but the Republicans are out in force.

Ohio is going to be so important for the republicans this election....hope the base turns out today!I think they will, granted we are extremely upset and disappointed with Taft, but he is not on the ballot and we are done with him now.

You 2 reminded me of something I heard Dennis Prager say today...it's rare that any one country's election impacts so many worldwide, but that is indeed the case here....
And it occurred to me then that that is our burden and our gift all at the same time.....

I worked our Ohio's GOTV. Believe me our VOLUNTEER operation just blew '04 totals away. If any of that has any impact we should have at least some positives.. Now, I'm talking my Dem county here, and we were motivated!
