Did you see Obama campaigning with Ford today? There was a short live shot of the outdoor rally which looked more like a revival than a political event. Ford shouted "I love Jesus, I can't help it!"
There are a whole lot of us in the same shape...I am sure.
I know I started getting really nervous on Thursday night for some reason...and it is intensifying...and I did NOT watch any of the Sunday shows...ugh.
What hit me really hard, was a thread last night that said that Chuckie Schumer had basically gotten a thumbs up from some of the "new" dem Senators if they win...to filibuster a SCOTUS nominee if Kennedy resigns because of health.
We just can't let that happen.
Then I heard on Fox News today...that Sandra Day O'Connor gave a speech somewhere, blasting the Bush Admin for taking away judicial POWER!!!

For the record, I DO agree with you on air superiority. IF we can keep the Democrats from selling or giving our technology to the Chinese, I have no doubt we will develop superior fire power and better technology.
The one variable the Chinese will never be able to overcome is American soldiers think. The Chinese soldier only follows orders and they cannot function without leadership. Ours can.
It sure would be nice if "our day" would come before the 2008 elections...wouldn't it???

I've thought about that as well and totally agree with you. Stretch Pelosi, even if the win in the House is small will claim a BIG mandate (which, of course,is different than they claimed when Bush won - - he doesn't have a mandate he didn't win by much).
If,and, being somewhat optimistic, I'll change that to WHEN the Pubbies win, the silence will be deafening. And, if the Pubbies end up with a small majority, the Dims will insist upon a 'partnership' and co-committee governship like they did before, but, would never give to the Pubbies.

Ticked me off. I kept thinking God (D) or God (R) - that's what he means.
SC, Kelly's father is Ray Kelly, the current NYC police commissioner, and a rabid, foaming at the mouth liberal. He gave the commencement address at my niece's graduation from Marist College a few years ago, and it was such a hate-crazed anti-Republican screed that I almost walked out.

A similar situation developed in Baltimore in the 1850s when Irish immigrants would work for less than the large number of free blacks who lived in Baltimore. One primary industry that was targeted was the shipbuilding industry, where blacks had guilds of caulkers, who became marginalized by the desperate Irish.
Thanks for that information. I did not know that about Ray Kelly. I had a similar experience with the speaker at one of my girls' honors convocation. I actually did walk out.

I knew who is Dad is but had no idea he was a flaming lib (I've only seen Ray on F&F as I recall). Greg did a good job in reporting as an embeded from Iraq. I've been very disappointed in him of late.
