Iraq urges calm ahead of Saddam verdict

BAGHDAD, Iraq - Iraq's prime minister on Saturday urged his countrymen to accept the impending verdict against Saddam Hussein without violence, then in the next breath declared the former dictator must get "what he deserves" with the decision that could send him to the gallows.
If Bush were 1/10th as evil as these blivets say he is, they'd've been long dead.

At the American College in Cairo we had Friday and Sunday off with school on Saturday....not a very good solution.

well there is another trial running concurrently; the one about the Anfal operations against the Kurds. It would be interesting if that other trial reaches a verdict in the next 30 days. Then he could have two death sentences!

Saddam gets Death - Justice Prevails, but
The killings he is being put to death for happened back in the early 80's when he was our man in the region. But no one seemed to be very concerned about it back then. In fact, we thought he was such a good guy that Don Rumsfeld flew over there to shake his hand.
So what changed? Oh I get it, now that we are officially a Christian I guess we must just be more moral these days. Yeah, that's it.
