"Now... that's just one scary picture..." The humor of the picture is revealed best if you have the option enabled in your browser to play animations in web pages.
The picture is an animated GIF file and the little kitten is batting at the feet of the corpse making the legs sway. If you're not seeing that, the picture is more grim than it is meant to be. :-)
