Christians delivered the Congress, the Senate, and the George Bush presidency. George Bush didn't get them appointed to the Supreme Court. Traditional family values voters did! So, What has been our reward? Republicans have IGNORED us. They are incapable of passing any legislation that would advance Biblical truth for our country. They laugh at us behind our backs and then go to their gay or swingers clubs with the tax dollars we pay them.

Be on your guard against false prophets; they come to you looking like sheep on the outside, but on the inside they are really like wild wolves.

I'd like to place my bets on the grown-ups. The problem is that the pouty-child caucus in the conservative movement is somewhat larger than I would have previously thought.

I doubt if I sleep Tuesday night. I've already warned my hubby (he's not politically obsessed the way I am - but he knows what counts!)

I'll sleep like normal. God's will be done, I'm OK with that. : )

I'm not voting and I'm putting my faith in the ALMIGHTY.

I'm going to be as blunt as I can....you sit this one out....you better kiss your butt goodbye....because when the RATS are in charge the NSA program goes bye bye...the terrorist will plot against you and all of us with a free hand.

Feel safe there in your smugness bunky....and say hello to Speaker Pelosi.

Go ahead and cut off your nose to spite your face. Isn't that unBiblical?

Poor Richard, you are poor indeed. Your spiritual faith is correctly placed in the Almighty, but faith without works is dead and while you are physically still a citizen of this country you must "give unto Ceaser".

I don't give a wits ass if you hit the abuse button on me....but its one issue whiners like you ...who remind me of the little kid who doesn't get picked to be on the team who takes his football home to show the others.

Like I said...feel real secure there in that holier than thou smugness...because Speaker Pelosi is in your future....then what will you whine about.

Note to DU lurkers:

A highly placed source has informed us that, with Democrat control of the House and Senate now in the bag, trucks from the Government will begin delivering the Free Stuff it owes you early Tuesday morning. You must be at home to get your Free Stuff. Because of the large number of deliveries and the small number of drivers, it will probably be a long time before they can deliver to your neighborhood again. Don't leave home Tuesday until you get your Free Government Stuff! Don't listen to the neighbors if they 'dis you about this . . . they probably think you're stoopid and plan to rip you off.

I am an election clerk on Tuesday. The votes will start coming in after I get home.

I don't know if I will go to bed, or just fall asleep in my recliner. I will never forget 2000 - I was helping count votes that night, and could not believe what I saw on the tv when I got home.

I’m not voting.

So you've decided to concede the election to a worse bunch. While I agree with you in principal, the real world results are simply not acceptable.

We need to be more active in the primaries and in demanding TERM LIMITS to start correcting this situation.

What would be an example of such legislation. Just curious.

I can understand that. I guess my problem is that I'm so cynical about media coverage I've come to trust only one poll or one report, the results showing the next day. Too many times the media has attempted to manipulate the vote, IMHO. I won't give them any attention towards that end any more. They can all go pound sand because I don't believe a word they say.

The 2004 election with their "exit poll" fiasco was just the tip of the iceberg as far as I'm concerned. I just don't want to deal with their bias, even FOX, any more.

Many of those you named in your list of "sinners" never held elective office and many others are no longer part of our government.

So what's your point? That you'd rather have 'honorable' people like Alcee Hastings (impeached as a judge but now serving in the House!); Charles Rangel; Henry Waxman; and John Conyers as chairmen of important committees in the House?

I pray that you don't get your wish because I love my country too much to want it turned over to the control of those who champion abortion rights; gay 'marriage'; and other values abhorrent to the Lord!

I don't watch the media. I get returns from the internet and will be hanging on FR to talk about it. Watching the media (as opposed to reading news stories) is an exercise in frustration. Talking heads are the devil's plaything.

Have they passed any of our agenda?

Not much. The promise of a politician is that to the liking of a drug addict. Whatever it takes to get the drug, or vote in their case.

I used to do poll work in Texas...People don't realize all the work invovled to run a clean election, get the ballots turned in, and then to have the votes counted.

Alito, Roberts were great choices. And there will not be any 'values voters' around, none of us actually, if the left wins. Because a vote for liberalism is a vote for Islamic Fascism. And they will not rest till everyone of us is dead. People wake up for God's sake!
