To: Knitting A Conundrum
Election returns to me are like watching the superbowl...

I can understand that. I guess my problem is that I'm so cynical about media coverage I've come to trust only one poll or one report, the results showing the next day. Too many times the media has attempted to manipulate the vote, IMHO. I won't give them any attention towards that end any more. They can all go pound sand because I don't believe a word they say.

The 2004 election with their "exit poll" fiasco was just the tip of the iceberg as far as I'm concerned. I just don't want to deal with their bias, even FOX, any more.

I don't watch the media. I get returns from the internet and will be hanging on FR to talk about it. Watching the media (as opposed to reading news stories) is an exercise in frustration. Talking heads are the devil's plaything.
